submitted byAnita - 5 years agoTarget staff supportA: it might be ok for your puppy, but an Australian shepherd will outgrow this bed pretty quickly (its only 17 x 17, so pretty small). it's great for my 7 lb chihuahua, though, and really cute!

My senior dog LOVES this bed. It’s too small for him (he’s too old to curl up in a bed) and it’s very thin and the sides flattens out when he lays in it but it’s his favorite bed. Only half his body fits in the bed, so he usually puts his body in it and sleeps with his face on the floor, but out of the 12 beds he has (various sizes, some fluffy, some orthopedic, different shapes, etc.), it’s his favorite. I’m going to get him a second one. I wish it came in a bigger size and different pattern.

The bed is really cute. It’s bigger than I thought it would be since it’s labeled as a small size. It could comfortably fit my dog who weighs 14 pounds. The inside is very soft and I like that the walls cozy, but still wide open for being able to see in and for the dog to easily climb out. That being said, the fluff inside the bed started coming out the same day we bought it without our dog even touching it. It’s cute for sure but the quality just isn’t there.

My Yorkie loves this bed. She likes the high walls to lay against and the low entry way for her cute little shortstack legs. Easy for her to get in and out of. It washes well when washed gently alone and dried on medium heat. Only complaint regarding this item is that I put this bed in my shopping cart last night wanting to buy her a second one, for the upstairs in my house, but now it’s $5 more today. A 25% price increase to be exact. That’s a bit much for a price hike over night. And no, it wasn’t on sale yesterday. It’s been the same price for a few months now. In this economy where people’s incomes aren’t increasing, but they still keep price gouging us, it feels a bit high. Especially when we can get beds like this for half the price at discount stores. I won’t say the names, but they’re popular stores; they rhyme with Smross and Smarshalls. Lol Therefore I will pass on buying a second one and spend my money elsewhere. Unless they fix the price lower. Maybe someone made a mistake? I know in California it’s illegal to increase prices more than 10%, so maybe it was an oversight by someone? Guess we shall see…
