Horrible! Texture & Taste changed when beef was added to the long time Pork & Turkey Hillshire Farms Polska Kielbasa!!!! Why did this happen??? I’ve been buying this Hillshire Farms product regularly for well over 30 years but thought I was doing something wrong lately.,,,,now I know it’s the beef and whatever else that changed it from being excellent to “ throw it away & never buy it again”!!! Beef does not belong in Polish Sausage…. I know that because I am of Polish Heritage! Please fix it!!!

I like kielbasa and thought id give one of these a go. I suppose it was fine, but all I could taste was salt, so if you want to eat a stick of salt, choose this product.

We bought this kielbasa in the past for years and it was good now it seems that it contains a lot more fat and the flavor isn't there like it was. Very disappointed. Color after cooking was pale to White inside indicating more fat.

We love it... Only 1 problem.....we have a hard time with the "easy open" We can't get it opened! I just use a knife to open it, and don't bother trying it! Faster and easier for me.

Too much grit in the texture, look and mouth feel of the sausage varieties, including finding a high number of tiny bone fragments in the smokies. Not the same product I grew up with.

Usually the polska kielbasa we buy in the individual pack is great. However, for a church For a church function I purchased the family pack....so disappointed and embarrassed that it the casing was so tough. Will never buy again and will try to get my money back from Giant Eagle. Not sure if this is the type of product used for family packs however it should be the same, you really don't save that much money....

I used to buy this and cook it to make sandwiches for my family; used it to cook with carrots and onions too. Recently purchased a package of it and yeah, not anymore. It tasked like plastic and had the consistency of dog food. I thought maybe it was out of date, nope, July of 2025 was the best use by date. So I went back to the store and bought another thinking it was just a random bad one. The second one I bought was worse. It was horrible. I don't know if you changed how you make it or what, but I won't be buying this again in the foreseeable future.

We've enjoyed your kielbasa since I was a child but what I just made and ate wasn't it. The color and texture is just gross and this flavor is NOT the kielbasa We've enjoyed for over 50 yrs. It appears to be the lowest quality meat possible and it tastes completely different than it used to. (It tastes like your competition's cheap bad imitation.) It's gray and spongy feeling. I won't buy it again and I'll be sure to tell my family that's it's disappointing so don't bother buying it.

Both my wife and myself have enjoyed the Polska Keilbasa for many years and used it in many of our favorite recipes. We both have noticed over the past year or two that the taste had changed. More of a sour taste. At first we thought maybe we just had a bad package but as we continued to buy, it was the same. Did Hillshire farms recipe change or something?

I have been buying this product for years and have noticed that recently the quality of the "sausage" has really declined. I just bought a pack last night for dinner and when I sliced the meat it looked as if it was formed like a hot dog. When I cooked and tasted it, the flavor and texture was also consistent with that of a hot dog. I was extremely disappointed. Its bad enough that the price of everything is steadily rising.. even the cost of this "sausage" but for you guys to raise the cost and also skimp on the quality is highly insulting to me as a consumer.
