Each slice had a lot of fat that needed to be removed. Don't remember having that problem before. We usually purchase Black Forest ham, honey ham is either much fattier or we received a fatty package

We have stopped buying the Ham Lunch meat because of unchewable gristle and tendon in the meat. Half package had to be thrown away

I've always loved Hillshire Farm's deli meats; however, this time, the Ultra Thin Honey Ham did not last to the date on the package. Today is 6/14 and the expiration date is 6/20 but it has a funny smell and there's little white dots all over the meat. Probably at least 2/3 of the package left that will unfortunately get thrown in the trash. And, yes, it was stored in the refrigerator in the original packaging, only opened one time prior to today to make a sandwich.

We have been using this ham for years but will be changing brands from now on. The ham in the last 4 pkgs has been oily and was either bland in taste or spoiled shortly after purchase. If you have made any changes in processing, they are not working.

The inside clear packaging ballooned up and pushed the lid off. This seems really scary and not sure it’s edible due to the gases creating this balloon

I opened a brand new pack of the ham, made a sandwich a with the first bite I noticed it was spoiled meat! I checked the package and it was all spoiled! I got as sick as a dog. Garbage!

A classic fave. Good stuff in my sandwiches. Flavor is great but i hate how they layer it.... its so hard to peel them off of each other when i want to eat it. I just want a slice!

I just had some last night. I rolled it up and a piece of salami and turkey cut it up and put it in my salad like an anti-pasta. It was great loved it. I recommend this for everybody.

The ultra-thin slicing, and flavor are the reasons. But I now have a concern - the sugar. If it is cane sugar the all is good. If beet sugar, that is a deal breaker. Beet sugar comes from, you guessed it, sugar beets which are genetically engineered, or GMO if you prefer. We have dropped every product that uses GMOs, which are most products containing corn, soy and unspecified (beet) sugar. I hope this product is not one of them. What kind of sugar do you use, pray tell? If beet, we'll be back when you switch to cane.
