Q: The chairs won't fold up?

A: Hello John, Thank you for your inquiry. To close the chairs, pull the Seat up and fold the Iron Leg Frame as indicated by the arrows, by hand, until the Chair folds shut. Note: There is an iron latch under the Seat Frame, pull this up by hand to lock/unlock the iron dowel into position. I hope my answer is of help!
