This TV sucks. We got it less than 2 months ago. It constantly gets stuck “loading” in the middle of shows. We are returning it. In a one hour show, it starts “loading” at least a dozen times.

The first one we purchased lasted 2 days before the picture froze. We returned it and Target would only give us a gift card . Their explanation was that it was a high ticket item? Made no sense even though we had the receipt. The second (even exchange) lasted 3 weeks before it kept randomly powering off. Returned, same policy ( gift card) we then spent double the money and purchased a Samsung. Save yourself some trouble and shop elsewhere. Targets policy of keeping your money is a ripoff

Awsome TV; Aweful Xumo

I have been buying Hisense TVs for as long as I can remember. They are fantastic TVs for a reasonable price point. However, I am not a fan of Xumo at all. The TV doesn’t want to turn on half of the time, the layout on the home screen is not user friendly, the ease with which to add or remove “channels” is severely lacking, the movement between channels/shows/menus/etc. lags terribly and it’s just, overall, an unenjoyable experience. I give the Hisense TV itself, 5 stars. Xumo, on the other hand, 0 stars. I really wanted to enjoy this TV and had no desire to remove it from the wall mount, box it up and return it to the store so, I bought a Roku stick on sale for $29 and now, it performs beautifully. It turns right on the first time, every time, it has a wonderful layout, no lag, etc. So, if you’re trying to decide if this TV is right for you, I would advise taking all of these things into consideration before making your purchase. A TV should perform flawlessly right out of the box. I shouldn’t have had to purchase any additional equipment for this TV to perform as it should have. Therefore, I would not recommend this TV.
