We received a damages box. The bookcase looked like it had been assembled previously. It was filthy and scrathced everywhere. As my husband was putting the case together pieces broke off. The screws are on the outside of the sides and visible. It is the worst bookbase I have ever purchased. If it wasn't already put together I wuld return it.

Though it is not as sturdy as I expected, since I am using it horizontally , not vertically, it works fine. I have dual plant stands sitting on it, and it gives me the extra height I needed for house plants at the window. Plus it gives me 5 cubes to put other items in.

Came very well packaged as shown in the picture. I yet still need to finish building it because i’m building it myself and has some steps to follow.

Screws nails all hardware missing. Several shelves were damaged and the back end of it by the slits the cardboard backs slide in were broken so they would not hold them in and had broken Styrofoam bits everywhere this was so mishandled. I was in an abusive relationship and left without any care for months and barely taking care of myself and my son do I did not get to opening this up within the 90 day window. Finding there is nothing I can do about everything being worth trash and no hardware. I just wanted a way to get the hardware and at minimum replace what was broken and keep what was good. One side strip is still good and a few shelves are still good. Huge disappointment. Most places will work with you. The insert directions say they will replace hardware and stuff for one year yet, target is like nope all or nothing 90 days that is it. I won'teven pre-order music as I have to wait so long to get it, over a week after release and I live in a major city.

Has a weird smell. Aired it out and put it back in the room and still has this lingering smell 2 week later. Such a hassle to disassemble and return. Anyone have tips on how to get rid of the smell?
