I purchased this to transport two cats from Atlanta to Los Angeles in my backseat. They are both VERY vocal in carriers and even more in cars. I left the open carrier on my bed for the week before the trip and was pleased to see that they were both using it for sleep. I got a small disposable litter pan and some containers with food and water and we got on the road. The cats were so calm I had to routinely look back there to make sure they were still in there. The carrier was spacious and easy to access from all angles. It snapped together easily, connected to the seatbelt without issue, and withstood my kitten's attempts to claw his way out. The adult cat sat calmly in her hammock the entire time, not a peep the entire 36 hours on the road. Once we arrived at our destination, it was easy to snap the carrier apart and separate the kitties to bring them upstairs to their new home. I was surprised to see that they had actually used the litterbox as they would normally be too stressed. The mess was minimal -- the soft pads and hammocks vacuumed up easily and the litterbox had stayed in place without incident.

Dimensions true to description. Great quality and sturdiness. Need to test it out for road trips but my cats allready are using it as an extra place to nap.

I first got the other product that was miss advertised that it had hammocks but each section could be zipped together. This is not the case for this one. This was cheaper so I think it was worth it given im not using super frequently. Price: 9/10. Quality: 8/10. Would I recommend: Yes.

We bought it for our move with 2 (11lbs and 8lbs) cats. We had to drive 32 hours with them. They had enough space (it's like they are having their own apartment) and they just loved the hammock. The hammock was sturdy until both cats laid on one at the same time and the? hooks bent. It was easy to carry them into the hotel room. Just be aware it is really big! I measured it and I was still surprised :)I would definitely buy it again.

I dont know because I had to send them back because they were too big for my dogs. But it looked and felt well put together and of good quality material. if I had bigger dogs I would have kept it. They should make smaller ones for toys, small yorkies or chihuahua. Like 20-25 inches. That would be great!!

I was heading across the country, driving from Virginia to Montana, and I needed a very comfy area for my 16 pound cat to reside for the long drive. This "kitty condo" (as I called it) was the PERFECT solution! There are two sections, and I thought when I bought it that the two sections zip together. They do NOT zip together, but they do buckle together and it was plenty secure enough that my cat didn't tear his way out of it or anything. I put a disposable litterbox on one side and bought a really comfy pet bed for the other side, and my cat lived the high life on the road out west!? I was so relieved that he could travel in relative comfort on such a long trip. I was able to strap the pet carrier in using the seatbelt. It does take up a LOT of room in the back - I drive a Hyundai Santa Fe, and this pet carrier took up pretty much the whole back seat of the car. Still... for a five-day drive, I wanted my little guy to have the option to use the litterbox or stretch out, and this was the perfect product to allow him to do both! If you have two pets, you can seal up the middle and give them each their own space, which would also be roomy for each pet. I was really stressed at the thought of taking my little kitty in the car so long, but he was a total trooper and hardly made a peep the whole way. I credit this pet carrier for giving me a lot of peace of mind, and also for giving my little big man a comfortable ride to Montana. It also comes with a handy carrier so when you fold it back down you can slide it into the carrier for storage. Highly recommend!

Very well made, I'm using it to move across the country. It fits perfectly in the back seat of my Camaro!

We bought these to move 4 cats from AZ to WA - we liked that they clipped together and gave everyone additional room if they wanted it. Two cats are 18 months and the other two are about 8 months - so none are full grown and all are very average size.

These tubes are so well made. I highly recommend this product. It is high quality and very comfortable for our very large cats. As an FYI, I was not remunerated for this review.

So far my cat likes this but I haven't placed it in the car yet for our 30 hour trip across the country. Right now it's sitting in my living room for him to get used to because he hates carriers. He sleeps in it so that is good. As soon as I have more to add I will.

Bought this to transport our 2 cats in comfort. The boys love their boxes. Can be zipped together as 1 large unit, or used as 2 seperate. Comes with removable hammocks. (I would suggest buying carabiners to hold the hammocks, the hooks supplied will not support a full grown, average sized cat) Each box is also big enough to have a litter box in there, plus leave plenty of room for the cats to move around. Pretty secure & they are used when at home too as sleeping boxes. Pretty impressed!

This double carrier fits perfectly in the backseat of my SUV and fit both cats and a small litterbox comfortably. They didn't use the hammocks so I took them out. Nice feature if your cats will use it. This was truly a cat saver on our long move from Boston to San Diego. I have one cat that likes car rides and one that hates them. They do better together so it was great to have something big enough and comfortable enough for two cats. This was perfect. By day 2 they were acclimated and felt safe and secure. Very well made and will last for many years to come. It's now a cat house in our new place.

Works great for my 2 smaller dogs. They weigh 10-11 pounds & there is plenty of room for them to turn around, sit, stand & lay down.

This purchase was made specifically made knowing we were going on a 4 state long road trip.? Our cat Hanky is a big guy, sits at 17" tall.? Started with the two pieces in the back seat, by day two we were down to just one.? Was easy to transport with him inside in and out of hotels.? By day three he was using the carrier and free riding with the dog as he could go in and out of the trunk to use the litter box when nature called.? He is also using it as a bed at our destination or a designated safe zone.? The extra pod as we refer to it is easy to fold flat and not use up space when not in use.? This has worked so well our 13 year old guy is going to be a road trip regular.

I wanted (needed) to love this product. The idea of be able to keep two cats together with an option for separate time is great. The carry itself is OK, but not the quality I had hoped for. The hammock would be OK for a much smaller cat, but I bought this for two larger cats (15 and 18 lbs). It would not be possible for them to climb onto it and have any room. It also seems likely that the carrier roof would collapse from extra weight. I removed the hammocks because of this. With hammocks removed, there is quite a lot of room inside, even with my big cats. The zippers are of extremely poor quality. Mine arrived with one zipper damaged (bent) in the middle making it very difficult to close the zipper over that part. Many of the zippers were already closed when I took the product out of the box, which by itself would be fine, but three of those were already split open. After some careful zipper surgery, I was able to get them realigned and zipped again, but this leaves significant doubt that any amount of pressure from inside (cat moving, scared, etc) could could them to split again, especially the one that is bent. I have not tried to use the carry to take the cats anywhere yet, but I have left it open for them to explore and play in. They seem to like it well enough. For such an expensive product, the use of cheap zippers ruins this product. Given the point of such a product is to keep the pet safe inside, this is not likely to do that. I have no choice but to keep it for an upcoming trip. I hope it stays together long enough to transport them without issue, but I highly doubt it. I researched hundreds of available options. This seemed to be the best choice. I struggled with buying this particular one because of the increase in cost over its $99 sibling (the orange and brown one). I figured it would be better quality. Bottom line -- there are no QUALITY pet carriers similar to this available that I have been able to find. PawHut should be ashamed for the quality of the zippers used. The pet industry has become nothing but corporate greed selling inferior products to desperate and all-to-forgiving pet owners.

Looking for a solution for a future long drive (18+ hours) with my two cats. The one pictured is 12 lb and fits comfortably.? I like the fact that they unzip into two totally separate sections. Sturdy construction, however I do wish the zippers locked together as I can foresee our smaller cat being able to work them open (will try the twist tie solution as others have mentioned). Haven't tried putting the cats in my car yet, but it fits perfectly across the back seat of my Hyundai Elantra. The little hammocks might be good for kittens, but I removed them to give my cats more room to stretch out. Seems like it would be a little crowded even still with both cats and a litter box but we will see. The carry case is a nice touch. I would suggest spraying it with Feliway and leaving it out in the house for the cats to sniff and get used to before trying to go anywhere. It's a little pricey but then they know people will pay for something like this if there's a need.

I got these in preparation for a long trip with cats. I want them to have room to move around and still be secure in the car. These are not exactly carriers because the floor is not too sturdy. I'll probably find something like a thin board to put on the bottom to make sure I can use the carrier to get the cats to the car. I set them up in the house to let the cats get used to them and they have really taken to the cubbies. Actually they each kind of picked one and they get jealous if another tries to use it. The sides are sturdy but very open with the netting. Cats can wiggle the zippers open on these things so I will secure the zippers together with a twist tie before the trip but I don't anticipate any problems. Easy to set up, easy to put away and they come with a storage bag.

These 2 has never been happy with their new hideout.

I love this, so easy to set up & very spacious..I like the fact that you can separate each side also
