I bought two of these, knowing the Homcom quality. I’m using them in a “Flex” room and they provide a lot of storage and room. I usually don’t bother with reviews, but this desk deserved writing about.

The size of this table makes it great for smaller spaces, yet it is still large enough to be used in multiple ways. The storage is amazing - holds much more than you might think. It's very easy to slide the rotating shelf out and back in - options! I bought the white desk, and it is super easy to clean (craft table). The only thing I will say, is if you place it on a rug, place the entire desk on the rug as it will not slide over the edge. Maybe a no brainer, but don't try to lift the desk from the table top! My husband and I had this put together in under a half hour, no issues at all.

I ordered this desk on the 13th and it arrived this morning, I started at 11:16 and was finished assembling by 12:32. Instructions were super easy to follow, all you need is a good screwdriver (I used mine from my IKEA toolkit), and then you're golden from there. Materials are incredibly sturdy, not to mention affordable, and it looks perfect in my space, very excited to decorate it!

Super cute but cheeeeap. If you don’t plan to move it or put anything heavy on it, it’s great. Would not recommend for a heavy computer setup. If it’s just a writing desk or laptop, it’s fine.

This desk is amazing. It is maneuverable in several directions to fit any space and accommodate relatively large cubes on one side and much smaller items on the other. It’s a perfect little desk for my 9 year old

This desk looks nice and I really enjoy the swivel feature but the instructions are a single piece of paper with only 4 pictures and no detailed instructions. It looks great but you better be ready for the challenge of putting it together!

I use this as both a desk and my craft area. It was extremely heavy and I was worried about assembly, but it was great. It took me about 45-60 minutes but I did it alone with no issues. Everything was marked really well and clear, it was one of the best experiences I have had assembling the furniture. I LOVE that the side swings out. It moves so easily and allows me a place to sit if I need to work, or I can close it for a tighter look and a crafting area. I am extremely satisfied so far with this.

The desk arrived pretty quickly, ordered late November, arrived early December. The process of putting together seemed a bit daunting because of just the amount of pieces, but it was actually really easy, however, the only thing they don't put in the instructions manual is about the device that lets it swivel but with a little help from my dad, we figured it out just fine. I, a not very strong female, put it together all alone. With the help of a power tool, it took an hour, maybe a hour and a half, but it feels very sturdy, and came with extra things if you lost one. The desk feels very well made, and the instructions were short, but direct, it is very heavy lol. You will need a regular sized Philips head screwdriver, or a drill, and a hammer to put it together.

The desk looks great assembled. The design was well thought out and multi-functional for different spaces. On that note, this desk is 100% particle board and once assembled not very sturdy and would be very easy to break/over thread. The top wood look design is paper coated. Assembly was easy. A smidge time consuming but easy nonetheless. Took about an hour total. It will work just fine for it's purpose but is not a heavy duty piece of furniture.

I like the fact that it's a 2 part desk and can adapt to any part of a room. Also the shelves on the side make it stand apart from other desks. I had some trouble with the rotating piece! One, it is not explained well how it is connected to the other parts of the furniture, so it's more of a guessing.... Then, when I moved the entire desk on the carpet, the whole item snapped and the screws just fell... so I had to put it back together. I think that particular item should be done better, including the part where the screws keep the item attached to the other part of the desk. Overall a nice desk.

The instructions were so simple, but definitely a little time consuming by yourself. I loved that immediately after I finished putting it together, I was able to maneuver it to whatever position I wanted so it would fit where I had planned for it to! It definitely fit, and it is not too big or long. It is not flimsy particle board (which is what I was afraid of), but sturdy and strong wood! If you have been looking for a desk and have come back to this one four hundred times, this is a sign to buy it! I was not disappointed.

Honestly it looked like it would be flimsy in the picture but after it was put together, I was super happy with the results. As long as you don't make it swing in a way it isn't supposed to, it's a really great desk. Pretty darn heavy though, so for those of you living in apartments, have a buddy help you take it up some stairs.

Love the color. Most black wood furniture isn't attractive but this desk is very lovely. It's perfect for my crafting needs and has plenty of storage for my items. My rooms a little small for the desk but does work great. Great for average sized space though! Easy to put together though instructions kind of vague. Definitely a good buy for cost!!!
