We just assembled this shoe bench. We had just one problem with putting the top part but eventually resolved it. It looks very nice and sturdy. Two of us could sit on it. It was fine. Even when our daughter came, she noticed that this bench was very nice. Like any other furniture it has some issues. When we assembled part of paint was pilling off but not noticeable. However on the side of the bench painting was not done well. It is manufacture’s defect but not very much noticeable. That’s why quality is 4 starts not 5

Nice addition to our entry way to sit, store our shoe's, and put on shoe's. The sliding door can fall off if you knock it just right. It's not a big deal. Boots won't work so well for this bench. With all dividers in, you can squeeze in about 12 pairs of small to average size shoes.
