Usable, Needs Support

This ramp is easy to set up. When I purchased it, I liked the idea of the legs at the middle of the ramp. They provide decent support, but an additional leg in the center of the ramp would be helpful. If any weight is put in the center of the ramp, it bows in quite a bit. I put some vehicle ramps beneath the bottom half of the ramp which made it much more stable.

this product said it had a 600lb weight limit. I weigh 172 and walking up the ramp, it bent. the pin that holds it together bent. The legs in the middle for "support" are not stationary. this is not at all stable and even after placing bricks underneath it, I still couldn't use it. I will be returning it!

Very heavy! Good quality but very difficult for one small person to set up by herself!

This ramp when folded is heavy for me, female in my 60's, but reasonable for wanting something steady. As is, it is very weak down the centerline with 2 door-style hinges for the lower half and a single linking pin for the upper half. There are only 2 legs, one each on the outer edge halfway down the frame so it wants to fold if you step along the centerline. These legs are good and adjustable but there's no support/legs for the center line. I added some wood support for the center line and now have a very steady, strong ramp. I also added 6" wide gritty friction tape down the center of each side since the small grooves in the aluminum surface didn't give me good traction as I eased my mother's chair down the ramp.

This ramp says it will support 600lbs but when my toddler 28pounds walked on it, it appeared as though it was already folding in on itself. Therefore I didn¡¯t trust it to support my grandmothers weight for radiation which is why I purchased it in the first place. Therefore I¡¯ll be seeking to return this item.

Amazing ramps, especially for the cost. Everyone is amazed at how sturdy and handy these are. I weigh about 230lbs with the chair and these perform perfectly, never flexing under the weight. We've even used them to take me up and down 4 step stairs in a pinch, of course with someone assisting. Note: if you're using these on steps made of marble / slippery stone surfaces, the tracks may slip if you just try to roll the front casters on, so instead a little wheelie hop to get the casters on helps to keep the ramps from sliding away. The width of the rails is ample to allow for any tracking difference between the front castors and the rear wheels for my rigid wheelchair, which is an Apex from Motion Composites (Canadian made). The rails edges help keep the wheels within the tracks. After use these retract small enough that we've been able to put them easily inside the trunk of our family sedan a 2001 Mercedes E320. I would definitely recommend these ramps.
Light weight and strong. Just what I needed.

Good product. The ramp will flex if not supported exactly in the middle. I suggest you measure and drill an extra hole on the two legs.
This has given me more freedom. Highly recommended and quick shipping.

This has made it easier for me to stay connected with the world. Recently lost my right leg below the knee. This makes it easier for me to get out of my house and get some normalcy back again.
Two thumbs up!!

This is worth its weight in gold! It is great for home use. Durable enough to be used on a daily basis. I push my mom on it in her wheelchair, with both our weight on it, and it feels very secure. Not what I'd expect from something so lightweight.
Alittle big to move easily but can move it. Works great

This is a bit heavy for just one person to move but as long as your not fragile one can move it.
Problem solved with portable ramp.

If you are a female, you may need help putting the ramp in place. It's portable but heavy. It is sturdy and I feel it is safe for two steps. I needed this to wheel my mother out of the house. Didn't want the expense Or look of a permanent ramp. Plus, if I need to I can use it for other things or at other places. If our situation changes I can sell it,
Serves the purpose that I purchased it for.

Ordered for a ramp to my dock. Does the job for me and was very easy to set up. Will leave set up all summer long for fishing and take down after fishing season. Other ramps for docks ran $500.00 to $1000.00 or more. Very happy with results for my purpose.
Just what I was looking for.
