This piano bench arrived perfectly with no defects (manufacturer packs the bench well). It has solid construction. My 10 yr son assembled it in less than 20 minutes (counts for homework). I really LOVE that it holds two rows of piano books. It looks like the more pricey benches with 100 plus dollar pricetags.

i wanted to give this 1& 1/2 stars. and that's generous. I've had it 5 weeks and already I have had to tighter the legs and today a button popped off. Too late, I checked to find it's made in China. American quality can't be beat. Buy some other piano bench.

It's sturdy, comfy, and wide enough for two people. My only minor issue is that the assembly instructions weren't very good and entirely left out that you need to have the top part open in order to attach the legs. It seemed pretty obvious once I figured that out (and it was easy to put together), but it seemed like an odd point to leave out.

Good looking and easy to assemble. Not very heavy, so be careful when your small child climb onto it. The storage compartment has a hinge to keep it up but need to open fully to activate to stay open. Again be careful with little ones. Overall, it is a good buy.
