This tree was so heavily flocked, the branches did not open when the hinges engaged on the one section I removed from box. It additionally felt very foamy & spongy to the touch and shed terribly when I tried to manually separate a couple of branches to open. I felt the overpowering look of the flocking ruined the texture of the tree branches which looked more like 'blobs', creating a very unpleasant overall appearance. Also concerning, the tree I received may have been in storage for a long while, perhaps in a damp environment as it had a very strong musty odor that was obvious as soon as the box was opened. There was no interior wrapping of any kind around the tree sections and no humidity packettes. Truely disapointing purchase overall and returned to Target.

I love love love this little tree. It lost one star because the flocking goes everywhere! I have other trees that are flocked but don’t shed as much. However it’s full and gorgeous and I love it!

Holy flockamole!!! For a pencil tree this one is packed with the flocking. Was a bit sad looking out of the box but once you start shaping it looks great! Can’t wait to add lights and decorate it!
