I read this book in a day and a half and it was really good. The different pov were interesting and took me a min to see who was who. It was a heart warming story of second chances. It was like watching a older life time movie, no so much drama as others as I have read, very little spice. But over all, it was heart felt.

Madeleine Hilliard is a brilliant cardiologist and is a single parent to her daughter, Lina. They have managed thru the years thanks to the help of her best friend, Father Frances. The problem is Lina is at that stage where she is rebellious and although Madeleine tries to do everything in her power to give her a normal life it has been a struggle as she was sixteen when her now famous boyfriend walked away. All Lina wans is to know who her dad is. Father Francesca’s urged her not to tell Lina as he will only break her heart like he did to her mother. Angel DeMarco is a famous movie star who never looked back when he left Oregon. Now after suffering another serious heart attack doctors tell him his only change of living more then a few weeks is a heart transplant. Now Angel is going to return home and see Madeleine a cardiologist who specializes in heart transplants. He is reluctant but that is his only chance of survival. How will Madeleine react to his u expected return? Can she forget about the past. Tell him about Lina? This story is very emotional and will give the readers a chance to read what I think might be Ms. Hannah’s best book yet. A very moving and enjoyable story.
