[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This compost machine is awesome! It works amazingly. It provides food for my green babies aka my plants. It’s small yet powerful, it doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. I love how you can’t smell anything from it. It has a fantastic odor control that I appreciate. I wish I was able to share more photos/videos of the compost it’s made for my green babies. They love the “food” it really has kept my plants thriving these past few weeks of using it.
3rd usage got error code.

It works ok, but there have been an issue on the 3rd time I used it. I got an E0 error code. Come to find out there does not seem to be any error codes list. Secondly, I found the chopper bars were stuck, after I let it cool down. What made it stuck were potato leaf stems. I harvested potatoes and cut off and put the roots end the out side compost pile. I had the stems and leafs left and cut them into sizes that would fit in the pot. The dehydration cycle did not try the stems completely out and they created a blockage for the chopper wrapping around the wall blades. being a design engineer, maybe the wall blades should have a cutting edge. Of course you are talking about a whole new liability accountability of some numskull cutting their self on any sharp object. I am still waiting on answer to my other question. Is there a high-temperature-resistant composite microbiota which may be added to the composter to create organic compost instead of chopped up dehydrated waste dirt?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this thing!!! I live in an urban area and have zero space to have a compost pile. My household goes through a ton of eggs and coffee, so I was able to fill this bad boy almost all the way to the top rather quickly! It does take a few hours to complete the cycle, but check out that beautiful compost!! i cannot WAIT to get this mixed in with my new seedlings!!
Easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is a little big in my small kitchen. However, I like this simple design. I cook often and make vege juice. Finally, I could use the leftover vegetables from a juicer! It was almost full in one day. There is definable a smell while drying out. No noise. I recommend this product.
Ease and conveniences Great to use in your potted plants!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is awesome! Small enough to keep on the counter but holds more than you think! It’s especially good if you don’t have a garbage disposal! I found out you really need to pack your food scraps in there to get a significant amount of results. No foul odor detected at all and very quiet operation. I highly recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Is this the right fit for you? Well, there are a few things to take into consideration. The design and color make it so it would fit any kitchen and look pretty neat. It curshes and dries well. For example, a full bucket would be aprox a 1/4 of the pucket in compost. In some instances, you may need to run it more than once, but once should do the trick in most cases. It does have a self clean function, making it easier to clean. And the compost that you get can be a great add to your indoor or outdoor plants as is or you can add to your outdoor compost bin and add some coffee ground and let it sit for a bit before using. Both options work, and in the grand scheme of things, you are reducing your trash and breaking it down faster than in a landfill while feeding your plants, so that is pretty nice. But the biggest drawback is that while it is considered quiet, it does have noise, kinda like an appliance humming sound. Additionally, it makes it smell as if you are cooking even with the filter, so be aware there will be some smell. And it does take considerable precious counter space. With all that said that can all be addressed if you find a different spot for it like the garage and run it overnight so the smell and noise don't make much of a difference. Considering that the cycle can be pretty long, at up to 10 hours. So it boils down on what your priorities are and what works for your lifestyle and home. For us, this was a pretty neat addition that will reduce our trash and make our plants a bit happier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s very simple and easy to use and quite, which I did not expect. There’s not much of a smell and ran over night and was done when I woke up. There is a decent amount of heat while this runs.
Extremely quiet and easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Living electric composter is pretty cool. The convenience of a counter top composter would be especially helpful for people in urban areas or those with room for only potted plants. It’s incredibly quiet! It does have approximately an eight hour cycle so I ran it at night. In most places electricity is cheaper overnight as well. I’ve tried it twice and each time it did an impressive job. What was odd is that both times there was one coffee filter that didn’t quite compote. Not that big of a deal. The compost was rich and dry and had no odor. This unit is super easy to use. You simply press the start button! I would recommend placing in a spot on your counter that is open and not directly under a cabinet. Or at least pull it out some as it does get hot. All in all pretty cool technology.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been pretty impressed with this countertop composter. Our town has compost collection, but even for that you end up having a smelly countertop compost bin. This allows us to throw in things like carrot and potato peels as we’re cooking, fallen flowers and leaves from my husband‘s plants, and even the remnants of a floral bouquet I received after surgery, and overnight it becomes usable compost for him to put back into his pots. We like that the size is compact, and it’s pretty sleek looking too. It feels substantial and durable, and the internal pieces feel like they are well constructed. One thing we do notice is that the circular motion that’s keeping the organic material churning through squeaks a little bit as it’s running, it almost sounds like crickets. It’s not super loud or anything but you probably would notice it. honestly i’m really happy with this and this brand seems to be a good alternative to some of those more expensive options.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Living Electric Kitchen Waste Composter for review and I am smitten! I was a little intimidated after reading the instructions and reviews of how it gets so warm and where to keep it while it’s running. It could not be easier. I popped the bucket on our counter and with 3 kids our family of 5 filled a bucket with fruit and veggie scraps, eggs, and coffee grounds quickly. I put the machine on our back porch since I was not sure what to expect but it was so simple. Put the bucket in, push start and voila! I had our porch door open and also checked on it throughout the day. It was not loud at all through any stage. The unit gets mildly warm but nothing concerning. I had no foul odors. I was sitting on the back porch for a bit in the evening during the heating cycle and I would venture to say the mild odor was actually kind of enjoyable?! Even after completion the compost has a light earthy kind of sweet scent. Not a turn of at all. I can definitely do this inside next time. The unit as a whole is too large for me to personally want to or have space to store it inside constantly. The unit will live on our garage shelf and the bucket will stay inside to be filled. Overall, I am so excited for this product. I can not wait to get this compost in our garden!
It doesn't smell. It's a good size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I started putting the coffee grounds in, then I put in the food my cat's didn't eat ( we have 4 pound babies) I put our scraps in also. I was surprised that it didn't smell. I'm waiting to see what else I can get in there. I want to use the compost for my flower beds. I can't wait. This will help me with having compost at home all the time. This is a great idea. All food waste can be made into compost at home and not go to the Land fill .Thank you for the opportunity to get this product.
Not really a compostor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The item does what it describes. It crushes and dehydrates the food waste. I do like that my food waste has somewhere to go however the bucket is pretty small and while it is being used in the machine I no longer have somewhere to put the scrapes. I also would like more of a description of what each stage does and why it is good for composting. There isn't very detailed material about this anywhere in the box. I have also worked with compost and this "compost" would need to be rehydrated and worked into the ground for a decent amount of time in order for it to actually be a compostor. Not sure if true but I have heard that if you try to rehydrate it can cause mold and other bacteria which is not good for plants. That is another thing that confuses me I've seen people put moldy fruit in there but mold isn't good for composting so I'm not sure how that is good. I think this product needs a better description of what it does and what is it for because compost probably isn't the right word.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I heard about this amazing composter many years ago, it was very popular on social media. Designed with a very luxurious and minimalist appearance with delicate white color. It's absolutely gorgeous and simple to use so I really appreciate using it. What surprised me so much was the amount of time it took to turn food scraps into compost for my vegetable garden overnight, I was so happy when I opened the lid in the morning. I took the time to learn what settings and waste mixes gave the best results, I was fascinated by the research into making composting better and it was incredibly easy. Just fill the bin with leftover fruit and vegetable peels, tea or coffee grounds or even egg shells, cover, press the button and let it do its work. Using leftover vegetables instead of throwing them away makes me so excited that I keep wanting to save more vegetable peels and coffee grounds. I completely let the machine run at night but it's still very quiet. And when I wake up in the morning, I can find the miraculous results inside the machine. I appreciate the fact that the machine doesn't leave any odor because it has an activated carbon filter. It's no exaggeration because my kitchen is completely odor-free in the morning, as if by magic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely works as advertised but I have only used it one time. Instructions could definitely be better and need proofreading for errors. Not sure how much eliminating food waste from our trash benefits the landfills which helps to break down our waste and also remains to be seen if the energy used by this product makes up for that.
Compact and works as intended

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I added some vegetables, onion, and egg shell into this composter, and it did a fine job making the manure. It takes about 5-7 hours to make this manure. The manual is very easy to understand, and within a minute, I was able to set up the machine and start using it. It goes through different cycles, from drying the waste to crushing it, cleaning the machine, and eventually cooling down. My only issue is that it does smell a little if you are running this machine indoors. I had to take it out to the patio and let it run because I didn't like the smell coming from it when it was running indoor. The machine is fairly quiet, and the end product (manure) came out just fine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Home Zone Living Electric Composter is such an awesome product to have. I fill it with egg shells, coffee grounds, old veggies, and uneaten fruit. I start it when u go to bed at night, and it's done by the time I wake up. I use the pre compost in all my indoor plants (We have many). This Composter is self-cleaning. You add water and push a button, that's it. I Would definitely recommend this composter to anybody. It really is a fun and interesting product to have in your home.
