I take 3 ballet classes a week and I have an ankle that acts up from time to time. I often think I should ice it, but I don’t often bother because of the inconvenience. None of the other ice packs I have work well for ankles, and I hate to be stuck sitting with my foot propped up. This little sleeve has solved all my ankle-icing problems, though! It’s so convenient - I just keep it in the freezer and when I need it, I just slip it on. Easy. No struggle to position it or get it to stay put. It’s as easy as putting in a sock. And because the whole interior is gel-lined, it covers my WHOLE ankle and foot evenly, which feels so much more effective than anything else I’ve tried. In addition, it’s very comfortable. It fits snuggly, but not too tight. It’s soft, not stiff at all. It stays put, doesn’t slide around or slip. I can even walk with it on, if need be, which is a big bonus. It does get VERY cold, so I always wear it over a sock. It stays cold for a good while too. The sleeve can also be heated, but I haven’t tried that yet as ice is more suited to my needs, but I’m certain it would work just as well warm. I have zero complaints. This thing is amazing, and I would absolutely buy others. Having an easy, convenient way to ice my ankles has made a huge difference. I highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Homedics Hot and Cold reusable gel ankle sleeve works great for relieving pain, sprains, strains, arthritis and swelling. It is thicker than any other sleeve I have seen, and has a comfortable, snug fit that prevents it from sliding off or out of place. It can be worn with or without socks, and can also be used on the elbow. You can keep this in the freezer so it's ready when you need it, but is ready to use after 2 hours in the freezer or 30 seconds in the microwave for heat therapy. This sleeve actually relieved my Plantar Fascitis pain thanks to the slight compression fit. If you have small / narrow feet, or boots with extra room inside you may be able to wear it outside of the house. I love this sleeve, I use it multiple times a week and I highly recommend it to anyone with ankle or elbow pain.

It’s squishy when you wear it, but you can immediately feel the cold of the gel inside of it. You can also heat it up as well! I would highly recommend.

Although the sleeve looks small and does have some weight feel to it due to the jail, it is extremely comfortable with a snug comfortable feeling. I used both the hot and cold and was surprised at the outcome and how well my foot felt after use. Also, because I consider my ankles and lower leg to be larger than average, I was surprised at how well the sleeves stretched and fit on my leg without causing any circulation issues. I do recommend having two of these so that you can use them both at the same time while relaxing without having to switch back-and-forth on your feet. The only downside which is an extremely small issue, is that it does take some pulling to get off due to the snug fit. in saying that, it is a issue and would not keep me from purchasing this product

I put mine in the microwave for 40 seconds to heat it up. Only the inside gets warm which is perfect! Stayed warm for longer than I expected. It did take a little maneuvering to get on my ankle but stayed really well. I like the weight and compression it had.

I’ve had several botched foot surgeries and this cold pack offers pain relief! It’s comfortable and soft. I rather not walk in it because it feels weird but relaxing in it is perfect!

It has been so amazing bc I have an old ankle injury from bk in the day that flares up. Also, living in the Southeast in SC, I have been getting prickly heat rash lately as well. So, it's great to put this in the fridge; slip it on with some tiger balm and feel the relief instantly. Great one size fits all. Comfortable, and the cool to hot makes a great difference. I use it 2 to 3 xs weekly to help alleviate foot and ankle pain. Then I follow with a weekly Epsom salt bath soak. Great relief for lower extremities! Great product ! I definitely recommend!

When I used the microwaved heated therapy it was slightly hard to take off my ankle due to sweat, wearing a sock helps resolve this and the cold therapy worked great and easy to remove, the thickness and gel fits perfectly snug on my ankle which does give this a 360° coverage. This gel sleeve is very unique and comfortable. I would highly recommend this product for an all around hot and cold therapy!

I exercise a lot and am always looking for new recover methods. When I feel discomfort and tension this sleeve has been perfect for my problem on my right ankle. It’s very comfortable due to the gel and it supports me very well. The material is very soft. I love how it slides on easily. It’s also light. It’s best to use while relaxing. Preferably laying down with your feet up. I don’t heat it up but it’s a feature thats available if you need it. For any swelling it can also be use cold, just put it in the freezer for a few minutes. This is a great product to have if you suffer from any ankle discomfort.

I have tried everything peas,ice packs ECT. This fits perfectly. It's smooth and has an even temperature throughout. I am so happy I got this I am looking for one for my knee now.
