We put this (reddish color) in our living room 5 years ago. It has stood up to daily abuse--kids sitting on it, kids climbing on it, opening it to get to the blankets, plus an endless stream of feet, computers, remotes, snacks, trays, etc. Very sturdy, perect size, and it looks more expensive than it is. It lasted until just a few weeks ago, when the faux leather finish on the top started to flake. Came here to see about buying another one.

I bought this for our small living room to use as storage and alternative seating. It is bigger than I had anticipated, but it looks great!
