Homogenized ULTRA pasteurized and now all have fortified D3 in them which isn’t absorbed in this form, making it even less desirable than generic brands. What is the purpose of paying for pasture raised when one can not absorb the benefits?

I have bought this milk for several years and really enjoyed it. A few years ago i started making kefir and it was great but had stopped making it for awhile. Decided to start making it again recently and my kefir failed to ferment. After ruining 2 boxes of my kefir starter and 1/2gallon of milk i noticed yall had changed your pasteurization to ultra pasteurized. I hate yall changed that, this was a costly mistake on my part. I will no longer buy yalls milk.

I bought the Horizon whole milk and although it tastes fine I am surprised that they add Vitamin D to their whole milk. It is not required in whole milk and that is one negative for me because I am assuming it is the synthetic version of vitamin D or else they would have specified. Also, the carton says cows graze for 150 + days vs. the Horizon website that says 120 days outdoors. Decent milk, but I won’t be buying it again. I don’t need any additives in my milk.

I really enjoy the milk, but when opening the gallon jug, I often find myself struggling due to the strength of the safety ring seal. I'm glad to know the product is safe on the shelf, but fiddling with the cap and ring at home keeps giving me papercut-esque nicks after all the effort. They're not a huge deal; but they do hurt, and blood smudged around before I noticed last time. Good thing I wasn't in a commercial kitchen.

Whatever's been done to the tops recently, I can't open the gallon jugs. Literally takes 10 minutes with multiple tools while my twin toddlers are asking for more milk with their lunch. Please go back to the other tops.

I tend to not like the taste of milk but decided to try horizon organic whole milk. Boy am I glad I did. It is absolutely yummy. Reminds me of the milk offered in the dining halls at Virginia tech.
