This is my favorite of all the canned chili out there. I have compared them all. Sadly it is getting harder to find in major supermarkets near me. Hormel- get your sales team on this. You have a great product and little in the way of competition in the vegetarian chili category!

I always have at least 6 in the pantry. I've lived all over the US and was always sad when I moved to where it was hard to find. These should be at every grocery store as a main veg staple! So good 😋 My dad always has some on stock at his house for when I visit to take back home, it's one of the ways he shows his love for me lol. I've made vegetarian versions of casseroles, huevos rancheros, & chili dogs. My favorite way to eat it is as a frito pie with cheddar cheese and sour cream! I hardly crave meat ever, but I always crave this chili 🌶️

Horrible bizarre taste, I put bay leaves, season salt, garlic, tomato paste, stewed tomatoes, onions ….its still horrible! I tried to rinse my tongue off. Still horrible, after taste.

I'm not vegetarian but I do enjoy Vegetarian foods I came across this chili can decided to give it a try glad i did its pretty good, great flavor too. i had a salad and wanted something warm to pair it with i warmed up only half the can will save the rest for tomorrow. a little less sodium would be a great idea & something you should think of offering.

Sodium kills this is a true killer over 1500 mg of sodium in a can!!!! Pleases please please reduce your sodium levels! I can't believe all the ignorant vegetarians being aware of texturized protein- come on that's vegetarian 101!

This is deceptive advertising. Though there is no claim to be vegan it is deceptive in the naming. This product has cholesterol which is likely hidden in the unnamed "natural flavors". Cholesterol only comes from meat products. This is disappointing and completely unnecessary.

Great chili! This is a meat free option. The chunks are fake meat (textured vegetable protein) Don't listen to the reviews, just read the ingredients.

People who have complained about "bits and pieces of meat " haven't bothered to read the ingredients! Soy protein! Gives the chili a nice texture. I always have a couple cans in my pantry. It's tasty and versatile.

I grew up on this chili. I've always liked it. I'd rather eat homemade chili but when time (and energy) is short, this one is my go-to. It contains textured vegetable protein pieces (TVP) instead of meat. The TVP is ground so it resembles the ground beef normally found in chili. The TVP gives it a satisfying chewiness. Apparently it's quite convincing because it fooled many reviewers. This chili does not contain meat.
My go to chili for years.

Since going low fat plant based 10 years ago I was looking for a convenient plant based product to add to my weekly menu. Hormel Vegetarian and now Plant Based Chili is perfect. I love everything about Hormel veggie chili, good flavor, delicious and convenient. I heat up a can and pour it over a sweet potato, regular potato or rice with steamed green veggies on the side and I have a perfect meal. I've lost 60 lbs and regained my health since going plant based. Thanks Hormel!
