I actually received this by mistake. The first time I got it I had ordered pepperoni. I didn't know that this existed but I'm glad I received it by mistake because it is actually really good like a spicy pepperoni

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I make a lot of homemade pizzas and subs. Typically, I use organic Hormel pepperoni, slice them in halves, and place it onto my pizza and sub. I am familiar with chorizo and order it when I visit traditional Puerto Rican restaurants. This pepperoni had a nice texture and a hint of chorizo. I made an Italian sub with it and it was delicious! It definitely amplifies your dishes!

When I asked them how they liked them they did say they were spicy but they still ate them. I felt that they added good flavor when I added them to our mini pizzas we cooked them on. I will be buying them again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried chorizo before but never in pepperoni form. I was very interested in trying these since I love pepperoni and at least like chorizo. The flavor is very good. Salty and spicy like regular chorizo, but I did find them to be a little bit chewy. I made a Mexican pizza with these since I thought it would mix better with those flavors and it turned out pretty good.

I would like to try it on pizza at some point, but I think it's a great option to include in a charcuterie plate.

I made mini pizzas with garlic bread, mozzarella, and these, and they taste great. They're also very delicious by themselves. I'd definitely recommend trying them out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will start off by saying that I am actually not a huge fan of Hormels basic pepperoni. It's not bad, but there are many better options. This new sliced chorizo though is truly a step above. It tastes great by itself, but it truly shines when used for cooking. My personal favorite was with eggs for breakfast, but it was also great on sandwiches and even made for a tasty pizza. Having a sliced chorizo product like this is truly great, and I will be sure to keep a pack in my pantry going forward.
