I wanted to like this so bad! I clean out my hair after each use but it has started to smoke! I am writing this review after turn it off and taking the head off and there was actual smoke coming out. Some of the bristles have even turned brown! Like other reviews, even the lowest setting is WAY too hot.

Honestly, I don't often leave reviews but I use them frequently to make purchasing decisions so I believe they are important. This got so hot on the Low setting that I burned myself twice. I've got somewhat thick hair past my shoulders and I did not get any volume. My hair looked dull and flat. This did not work any better than the less expensive Revlon option so I took it back.

Wow this thing is WONDERFUL! Suffering with hormonal hair loss so my hair is twice as thin as it should be right now but this really brought life and shape back to my hair. I love that you can detach the head and use it like a mini leaf blower on your head LOL no seriously I got so much volume when I used it without the head on the cold setting (no heat damage yay!) and flipped my head upside down. It took maybe 10-15 minutes like this to dry but after I styled with a curler it looked super voluminous! 10/10 wish I had this sooner way better than the other brush dryers!

Eh, this tool worked okay. I have chin length, thinning old lady hair. Despite this, it took upwards of 20 minutes to dry and style my hair from damp, almost-dry hair. It’s also really loud and higher pitched than a blow dryer. I gave it four stars because it’s definitely worth the price, though I’m thinking I should’ve ponied up the extra $20-$30 and gone with a quieter, more efficient tool.

This hair dryer works great. Dries hair quickly. My only complaint is how loud it is. I guess that comes with it working so quickly but I woke my husband with the noise it makes. It's a kind of whistling noise on top of the normal sound.

I bought this hairdryer in July and have mixed feelings about it I would not buy another in the future. It dries my hair to a smooth shine and gives fullness, but the look is temporary. Within 30 minutes my hair is back to almost normal with some frizz and some curls. Yes, I use hair products too. The real negative is that the temperature controls are just way too hot. Hot is HOT, low is low hot and cool is warm. The worst negative is that the dial area to set the temps…the writing is completely gone and you can’t see the settings at all. I have to guess by sound and position where the dryer is set, so memorize where they are. High, low, cool off. Cool is a super high pitched whine that causes my bird to screech. He definitely doesn’t like the sound. Do I recommend this dryer? Not really. I’ll get another brand in the future to replace this one for sure.

I have thick wavy hair and usually just let my hair air dry, I probably straighten my hair 3 times a year so I keep things pretty low maintenance. I had my doubts but a process that would usually take me 1.5 hours took less than 30 mins. My hair looks and feels like I just left the salon.

Okay I bought this because I wanted to see how this really worked. For the record I have very curly thick hair but I iron out once a week. So I think the trick is for the brush to get pretty hot and then use it. I used once and it’s kinda hard to make curls because it’s a little on the bulky side even though I purchased the smaller barrel. Over all I am going to give this another try. The blow out at home really does give that effect! Also I would imagine this would be a bit difficult on short hair. I have very long hair.

This product was quality and did as advertised BUT the decibel level is comparable to having a 747 jet plane next to your ear! I had to return the product or else enroll in a sign language class for the deaf. Too bad as I liked the product but I like my ability to hear more.

Love this dryer! I bought the revlon paddle brush dryer last year and it just didn’t work for me, I felt it was too large. But this size and shape is perfect. I just cut my hair into a bob and it dried quickly and gave it great volume.

I'm not one to do my hair or anything. this is simple one step process. my only real complaint is the heat selector could be better designed. the dial is small and hard to adjust between settings. it is a bit loud. my hair comes out smooth and static free in the winter.
