Q: We have noticed the same thing - wondering what other cars can be used? None of our other hot wheels cars work with this track - only the one car thats included.

A: The smaller, skinner type of cars will, but they don't have a certain type. It was a bummer when literally almost 30 cars didn't work.
submitted byMauSempapi - 17 days agoA: I saw on another forum about this track that the X-Raycers hot wheels cars work best, but not all of them either. Also, check for a "loop" symbol on the bottom, these are suppose to be better..

Q: Which specific hot wheels cars can I get that will make it around this track? The same kind as the one that was included? My sons tested at least 10 that we already have and they are all seemingly too heavy.

Barely works with the car provided. Definitely doesn’t work with any other hot wheels cars. I spent so much money on batteries thinking it just didn’t have enough power. Wish I would have read the other reviews. This will be going in the trash. My kids get so frustrated when playing with it.

This toy does not work at all. I’ve changed the brand of batteries tried different cars. It just doesn’t work at all. This was one of my sons big Christmas gifts and im highly disappointed.

The part that sends the cars through the track stopped working after 5 days. I changed the batteries thinking that would help it have more power but that didn't work. I guess it's just terrible quality.

Not one single hot wheels vehicle can make it through the loops. We’ve tried HUNDREDS and my 5 year old is extremely frustrated. It was a Christmas gift from a beloved cousin so he’s refusing to get rid of it, of course. Every time he tries to play with it ends in tears.

I was really expecting more from this track. I knew it would take a little bit to assemble, and I appreciate the ability to fold it up a bit to store it, but the actual function of it leaves room for improvement. Out of the whole box of cars my son has, the only one that can even make a full pass is the one that came with it. Even then, not always. I researched and found certain cars are better but what about the dozens of cars we already have?? It's a rather frustrating toy for adults and kids alike. If I didn't have to disassemble the whole thing I would consider returning it for a different track.

Battery life sucks. Even with turning it off when it’s not played batteries only last 2-3 days max. Also they take 4 DD BATTERIES. My kids love the track but the quality of this track ain’t it.

The concept is fun but unfortunately as other reviews have mentioned other Hot Wheels cars do not work on the loop. This is a huge misstep, defeats the purpose and is quite frustrating. The product comes with one car that does complete the loop but other Hot Wheels cars (and we have tried plenty) do not make it completely around.

The included car doesn’t even work and none of the 75+ hot wheels cars my son has work. I went out and purchased another 5 pack of the ones with orange wheels that are supposed to work well on loop tracks and none of those work either. What was supposed to be my son’s favorite gift and literally the only thing he asked for is something that frustrates him all day every day now.

This track looks so great!! The fact only certain cars worn with it is ridiculous. Topped with where are the special cars that go with it? The car it came with has a loop, looking at the site you can’t even filter those cars. I would have rather paid extra for more cars in the set. “4loops 4 cars”

Terrible product. We bought this for our son for Christmas. It came with a car that will make it through the loops once every few tries. We own a full bucket of other hot wheels cars and zero have made it through the track fully. Now the original car supplied with the track barely makes it through the loops even after taking the track apart, and reconnecting. Complete waste of money and very disappointing for my son.

The only car that will finish the entire track is the car attached and that works only about half of the time... We have several different original Hot Wheels cars of a different style and none of them are able to complete the track. Not a single one. I am disappointed with the purchase and wouldn't recommend it. We are considering a return, despite the fact it was a Christmas present.

I love the idea of this track as does my kid. But Hot Wheels really dropped the ball. It has a crash zone so clearly designed for more than one car to run on it at a time. Good luck finding other cars that will complete all the loops! This isn’t a Hot Wheels vs Matchbox issue either. I’m talking official Hot Wheels cars including ones marked ideal for race tracks cannot complete the loops!!
