Q: We have noticed the same thing - wondering what other cars can be used? None of our other hot wheels cars work with this track - only the one car thats included.

A: The smaller, skinner type of cars will, but they don't have a certain type. It was a bummer when literally almost 30 cars didn't work.
submitted byMauSempapi - 2 months agoA: I saw on another forum about this track that the X-Raycers hot wheels cars work best, but not all of them either. Also, check for a "loop" symbol on the bottom, these are suppose to be better..

Q: Which specific hot wheels cars can I get that will make it around this track? The same kind as the one that was included? My sons tested at least 10 that we already have and they are all seemingly too heavy.

Like nearly everybody has said, this track is garbage. We have about three cars out of hundreds that will get around some of the time. Very disappointing for the price point.

This thing is so disappointing. Only a few cars work on it and it only goes around a few times before it just won’t make the loops anymore. My son was so excited about it and so were we but we do not recommend.

The car that came with the set does NOT make it through the first loop. We put in 3 sets of new batteries. None of the Hot Wheels we own work on this track! Which specific cars work on this track. Or please me ones that DO

It is awful that Mattel does not stand behind there products. My son wanted this track as a Christmas present, it works great with the one car it comes it, but so far spent $50 on multiple packs of Trackmaster cars that were recommended to work in Q and A, and none work, even one that is identical to the car it came with. This track is absolute garbage.

Cars do not make the loop. We have gone through many many cars even the ones that came with system. Even with new batteries and all.

Just bought for my 5 year old. So far just like others have stated, most cars don't make a full loop. Very disappointing. Quality of products have declined significantly over the past 2 years. So far for our purchases this isn't the only track that does not function well. All tracks that we have function poorly.

I bought this for Christmas for my boys who love cars and tracks. Easy assembly. 4 D batteries isn't the best. It worked for the car that came with it and that's it. After a couple hours and a whole bunch of cars later it stopped working and maybe 2 cars out of all their cars works. So I bought "track cars" but they didnt work either. Now not even the car that came with it works. I have to figure out how to take it apart because I am returning it but can't do so assembled. My boys and I are so disappointed! I wish I read the reviews before buying this!

Barely works with the car provided. Definitely doesn’t work with any other hot wheels cars. I spent so much money on batteries thinking it just didn’t have enough power. Wish I would have read the other reviews. This will be going in the trash. My kids get so frustrated when playing with it.

This toy does not work at all. I’ve changed the brand of batteries tried different cars. It just doesn’t work at all. This was one of my sons big Christmas gifts and im highly disappointed.

Bought this for Christmas for my son and none of the cars it came with will even make the 1st loop, seems impossible that it would or could even make the 4loops, bought multiple different 1:64 cars and track cars and even hott wheel cars and none of them can make it around the first or second loop. This is the worst toy for hott wheels. Too many loops, and the rotary isn't strong enough to project the cars fast enough to make all these loops even the first one is troubling to the point where this toy is trash. If u want a hott wheels track better to get one that doesn't have loops like this or only has one because this is a waste of ur money. Now I'm out the money and have all these cars that don't work for it. It's trash!

We bought this toy as a Christmas present for our child, who had eagerly waited for it for two months. Unfortunately, it only worked for about 10 minutes before the cars stopped completing the entire track. Initially, we suspected an issue with the batteries, even though we were using brand-new ones from a well-known, reputable brand. We replaced them with another set of fresh, high-quality batteries, but the problem persisted. We tried around 20 different Hot Wheels cars and even measured the current at the battery pack, which remained stable at over 6V, as expected. This leads us to believe that the issue lies with the motor or the internal mechanism, which appears to be poorly designed or made with subpar materials. Given the high price of this toy, we expected much better quality. Unfortunately, this experience has left us extremely disappointed with the Hot Wheels brand.

The part that sends the cars through the track stopped working after 5 days. I changed the batteries thinking that would help it have more power but that didn't work. I guess it's just terrible quality.
