Hot Wheels City Cobra Vs Tire Shop

I absolutely Hated putting this stupid thing together. But my kid loved it immediately and now it’s one of our favorite toys! Read/study the “instructions “ and don’t give up because it’s worth the effort!

My 3 and 6 year old love all things Hot Wheels. My husband and I enjoy playing with them too. They are easy to assemble and captivate my children’s attention longer than most toys. This one is really cool because there’s so many different ways the car can go through it. My little guy especially was excited by this set. However the cobra head and neck constantly fall off and need to be attached again. While a replacement part will be requested it does seem like it is due to a quality issue rather than manufacturer issue. So slightly bummed about that as it takes away from the thrill and appeal of it.

The overall design is awesome but it’s lacking durability. The pizza part on top barley stays down unless you almost slam it. There is a lock you have to put on the tunnel that presses into the track and a release button to make the track go into the air and it’s very sensitive. You would think it needs to lock all the way but when you do that and press the release button the track doesn’t go up like it’s supposed to and the pizza trap just flys over. I would honestly save the money to put it towards a better one. My 5 year old and myself just found it more frustrating than fun.

Great wow factor but doesn't maintain the excitement after opening. Not very easy to use and my kiddo lost interest.

My 4 year old was excited for this track, played with it once, he never ever plays with this track, save your money and put towards another one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Putting together the track was pretty easy. I wish the stickers came on from the factory but almost none do now. My kids love the color and how the snake teeter totters. They're constantly playing with this toy. They like the colors. I like that it attaches to other Hot Wheels tracks to make it a unique bigger track. I like how this track offers three different options for the car to go down.

When it came to the assembly, the instruction manual was not completely helpful. There were a lot of pieces to assemble and it got confusing to put together. Once assembled, it was easy to operate the product. The fun factor was ok but because of the repetitive experience it got boring after a while.

We have yet to see the show but they love how there’s more than one outcome on where the car comes out. My only complaint is that it not all of connections fit with other types of track, we have tons of track pieces that can’t really connect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids like this set. Assembly wasn't difficult and took less than twenty minutes. The snake is pretty cool looking. The car starts at the snake's tail and can go out three ways- down a ramp around the back, around the whole snake and out its mouth or around the orange ramp in the center. The kids favorite part is the center ramp because it flips the pizza on top over onto the snakes head. On the bottom of the pizza is a snake with x eyes. They think it's pretty funny. This set connects with the other hotwheels sets using the base connector or track. Most of our hotwheels cars fit on this track.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was easy to put together, my nine year old did it (I just did the stickers). Only had to show my kids (6 and 9) how to do it once and they’ve been able to operate it without any problems and they’ve had so much fun with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grandson and I played with it by the kitchen table so it was on a flat surface. He really enjoyed playing with it. The only issue it has is sometimes it does not launch the vehicle. Other than that its great.

My 10 year old was able to set up toy since the directions were clear and the parts were labeled well. Both of my children had fun seeing which part of the track the car would go down and what would happen. Watching the cobra shoot up and the car end up in the dumpster was a favorite of my 6 year old. It was easy to use and held my kids interest seeing how different hot wheels cars would perform.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cool track. My son liked that it had three different routes that the car could take. It came with a nice police car. The track is hard plastic and pretty easy to put together-it took him about 10 minutes. The only problem with this track is that it does glitch sometimes. The car gets caught where the tracks come together at certain turns and the snake did not always snap when it should have. Other than that, it is a nice set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a neat little set. Comes with a couple hot wheels cars so you can begin play as soon as you set up. Comes in the box as disassembled parts, but also with a colored instruction book with pics. Was pretty easy to set up, easy to understand, just had to follow the steps. Once we got set up, we had to learn how to play with it. Pushing the starting piece down, it will lock into the bottom part, place a car in, and push a button to activate. The parts move so the car actually has a couple different paths. My son is 6, and he enjoyed it. The set does seem to need to be handled a little more gently that others that we have, because of the moving parts on it. It will take normal play, but if your child is rough with it, you may need to snap some pieces back in place. Good idea for a hotwheels track, love the different possibilities. Great that it comes with cars for immediate play. Bright and colorful, brings excitement to play.

I love how sturdy the parts are and that they snapped loudly in place. It’s more stable than expected as we are able to carry it from place to place without an issue. There were several stickers to put in place but they were relatively simple. (I don’t have the steadiest hand.) The multiple tracks provide hours of fun. The favorite was getting the car into the snake. We especially like to set it up in the living room and play as we have the show on. I think this is a great set!!!

You have the ability to switch the tracks with little levers. It’s fun because the car will shoot out in all different areas. It is similar to a little elevator when you first activate the track. You push a button to get the track to lift up and the car races along the tracks. The pizza pie will flip over if activated and it is a cool surprise. It definitely keeps my kids attention because of the different track options.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hotwheels City Cobra vs Tire Shop comes with one hotwheels police car. It is rather labor intensive to put the toy together and attach all the stickers. I really wish the stickers came on the toy. My boys loved the cobra and how it “chomps” the car. To use the toy, you pull the tail down and lock it into place. Then you place a car in the tail, push the hotwheel button, and the car moves down the track. There are three possible ways it can go: straight into the cobra’s mouth, along the whole track, or if the pizza lever is tripped - the car comes through the pizza shop. My kids enjoyed playing with it, though the tracks can come apart if they play too rough. However, none of the pieces have broken.
