About the Author
Elizabeth Fee is currently Assistant Principal at the Ella Baker School, a Pre-K through grade 8 public school in New York City. During thirty years as an educator, she has served as a middle school Humanities teacher, ELA Instructional Coach, Social Studies Core Curriculum writer, and an advisor to principals. She holds a Master of Arts from Teachers College at Columbia University and New York state certifications in building level and district level leadership. Carpenter Collective is a graphic design and branding studio led by partners Jessica and Tad Carpenter. They focus on bringing powerful messages to life through branding, packaging, illustration, and design. They have worked with clients ranging from Target, Coca-Cola, and Macy's, to Warby Parker, Adobe, and MTV, among many others. They've earned a national reputation for creating powerful brand experiences and unique visual storytelling with a whimsical wink. My 13 yr old son loves history. I go this book for him this book to help expand his knowledge. It's written so his age group can comprehend and understand. It gives him ideas to explore further.
