Main pinch points: Keyboard has very little contrast. It's monotone, more or less, and the keys don't stand out clearly. Battery life is abysmal. Since there's no removeable battery, like every other laptop I've ever owned, once it goes this 'mobile' PC becomes a mini-desktop. There is no way to add RAM, either. I really regret buying this laptop. (It's not the first HP laptop either. All previous ones were great, excellent even. Not this one.)

I used Surface after using that it looks like I am being downgraded. Some of the features do not work. Like sidebar does not show when booking a flight or selecting a calendar. Sometimes Wifi does not correct I need to restart it to work.

Good overall quality and I am pleased with the sound, especially playing video recording of classical music. I d not like the many distracting features of entertainment and specifically the games which Windows 11 seems to force to the implemented software program.

This is a low cost product that provides all that I require from a laptop. With Microsoft 365 pre loaded for one year it is a really vfm item. It’s lightweight so easy to store away and quite smart when in use.

A bit disappointed with this machine because unlike other HP laptops this one does not have back-lit keys. It makes hitting the right key at the right time just that bit more hit and miss. A shame. I can't believe that enabling lit keys at the point of manufacture would have increased costs significantly.

This is my third HP laptop. I don't like the fact that McAfee is already loaded and it keep telling me I am not protected. I have always used Total AV and this feels that I am being pressurised to pay for a program I do not like. Also I don't find Bing good enough - I have loaded Chrome as Bing gives America answers and companies so I have to scroll down the pages to get to UK/Europe ones. If I hadn't like my previous ones, I wouldn't have bought another.

I bought this to replace an existing HP Pavilion laptop. Having used the new machine for a few weeks its limitations are a little irritating. The lack of an RJ45 internet connector is something I can work around, but I had assumed that all laptops came with this, well they did. The lack of USB ports is the main bugbear, but seems to be common problem on laptops. I should have checked the specification more carefully. The biggest issue though is the keyboard. It feels very flimsy, a bit like something on a child's toy. I find it irritating to use as it moves when a key is pressed. It definitely gives the impression that it will not last long. The performance is fine, but not great, but it is a budget machine, so about right for the price. Next time I'll spend the money on a higher spec machine.

Bought to replace a similar but older device which simply wore out and died. This thing is a poor replacement, in many ways a downgrade. It doesn't have a CD/DVD player. It's predecessor did, and I built up a small collection of irreplaceable files and vintage films etc which are very important to me. Yes, I am well aware that the world has moved on to 'streaming' and such, but the CD/DVDs still exist.
