I opted out of HP instant ink to buy my own cartridges. I've barely printed 20 pages, have more than half the ink left, and it's now the printing is faded as if it's out of ink. The expiry date on the cartridges is over 6 months out. There's no way to contact someone at HP to resolve the issue or replace the defective product. The instant ink cartridges do not dry out like this. It's as if HP is forcing you into a subscription program.

It only lasted 2 months, unfortunately. Target used to sell their own generic version, and I never had issues with that. Now I have to resort to buying the expensive HP version and not only is it priced absurdly, the longevity is not there anymore. I was able to get less than 50 pages worth of printing done before it completely ran out.

This is the wrong 63XL On the side of the box it does not show it is compatible with HP Smart Tank 5000. Although I have not opened the box, the box is too large for the 1 7/8" tall and 1 5/8" wide ink cartridge. I need to return this ink to you. Please send me a prepaid return label.

The ink didn't match my printer. I ordered on Dec 30th and so when I try to return it, it only brought up orders for the year, which was unfortunate because the year was over and I couldn't go back 2 weeks to select the purchased product.

I thought I ordered “original ink”. Based on my receipt I did. My printer will not print with this ink unless I enroll in the smart ink program. Very frustrated. Why would they sell something like this? Only print about 30 pages a year- don’t need an ink replacement program and Target should not sell ink that will not print.
