Overall I was hyped to buy this! I found the volume to be low and our Beagle constantly would hit the button making us re-record and even jammed one of them in. Is there a way to unjam it???
My dog can speak full sentences

I got these buttons as a way to effectively communicate with my dog. At first It sounded like a good idea. My dog would slowly begin to understand english and use the buttons, as if communicating like he was human. Usually when my dog hits the buttons I hear a loud click, then I hear a voice saying the word on the button. One day while I was washing the dishes, I heard the words “Walk. Now” without hearing the click of the buttons. I turned around and my dog was standing on its hind legs, staring at me with the straightest face ever, not a single button in sight. This dog now dominates the household as I fear what will happen if I deny his request. He tells me that no one will ever believe me at night as I lay in my bed trying to sleep, and hes right. No one ever believes me when I tell them this. When I take him for a walk, he acts normal, like any other dog. Do not purchase these buttons, I cannot escape this repeating cycle of a mere animal telling me what to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes. But this product is soooo cheaply made. And the recording device is so bad, you cannot make out the words you record. It comes out garbled. Does not come with batteries (a personal pet peeve) and you have to buy a special tool in order to unscrew and open the panel to access the place where the batteries go. Cannot recommend this product at all.

Even though it's fun, record buttons are to easy for the dog to hit. You end up having to record the same thing over and over.

I would still buy it, knowing the audio clarity is poor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm glad their are colors. I think my puppy will use that instead of the actual "word"; it's a bit hazy on the recorder. It's a fun product though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works how I expected. I like being able to record a non-mechanical voice into each one, and being different colors helps me know which is which. The pup is still unsure about it but I'm confident they'll be helpful for our future communication.
Enjoyed my purchase and product is great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am working on training my dog with this starter set. I purchased a total of 8 buttons, but I am currently just working with 4 of them. The product I received is as described and seems well made. The reason I gave it 3 stars is due to the location of the record button. It is really easy for my dog or myself to hit that button which erases the recording. I have had to re-record the command multiple times due to this issue.

After seeing this on Facebook and TV, I gifted this to a friend who got a puppy during the pandemic. I thought it would help during the potty training, treat, and overall teaching stage.

My dog is two so I was not sure she could learn a new way to communicate, but with positive feedback and regular interaction she is now using all four buzzers! I am planning to order more so that she can communicate even more. Yes, you will be taking your dog "outside" and for "walks" and "play" a lot while they figure it out but it's quality time well spent. I am also reading Christina Hunger's book and she makes such a great point that if we take time to listen to our pets, they return the favor by listening to us. I have found out communication has vastly improved!
I want to buy more buzzers!

I use this with my dog. I am excited to start using them everyday. Its a great and fun way to communicate with pets and it keeps the entertained. I am excited to use the word hunger because my dog uses nonverbal cues for when she needs water and needs to go outside, but I never know when she's hungry. Even though I feed her regularly I want to make sure she isn't still hungry and I'm excited for the opportunity to make sure.

Training my dogs to talk has never been so fun! I'm also trying to train one of my cats to say things to me...but that has proven to be an adventure all of its own.
