I have a recipe that required two 15 oz cans of Hunts Stewed tomatoes. The tomatoes were so unripe (yellow) that it took three cans to get the equivalent of one can. The last time I used Hunts it took two cans to make one can. Their quality control is nonexistent.

The flavor is still great, but evidently Hunts is taking shortcuts in the peel removal process and it is very frustrating. For quite a while now, I've found that I have to check the entire can to make sure there aren't peels attached or floating loose. I expect the best quality from Hunts tomatoes, and this is very disappointing.

I usually buy storebrand stewed tomatoes and Im very happy with them. Someone went shopping for me and bought HUNTS Stewed tomatoes. I am so disappointed with them. There was a bad tomato slice in the can and it was mostly tomato peel. I would think it should be better than storebrand, especially considering the price difference, but it was not better at all. I will stick to store brand from now on

I love the Hunt’s brand of tomatoes. I use the stewed tomatoes a lot in my recipe but wonder if Hunts could make a diced stewed tomato. I always have to cut up the stewed tomatoes. Would love if they came diced, so much easier.

Hunt's is my go-to brand for stewed tomatoes. I add a can whenever I do a slow cooker beef stew in the crock pot. Can never go wrong with it and I'll probably never use a different brand unless I have to.

I though his product was great to use when making my tomato sauce or adding it to my chilli. Having dietary restrictions the acid in this product is high. To combat this I heat it separately and add a pinch of baking soda to neutralize the acid and make it consumable for my family

Easy ingredient to work with and cheap too. The quality is always great, I've never had a problem with Hunt's. I always use some variation of their canned tomatoes for pasta dishes or chili or anything tomato-based and as long as you know how to season it always turns out tasty.
