About the Author
Rebecca Colby is a children's book author, poet, and screenwriter. She has previously been a pantyhose inspector, an English teacher in Taiwan, a tour director, and a librarian. Rebecca lives in North Yorkshire, England. Katya Longhi was born in 1984 in Modica, a small town in Southern Italy. She studied at the Florence Academy of Art and the NEMO NT Academy of Digital Arts. When she was a child, she drew everything she saw--she has countless drawings of ice cream and Snoopy! Katya works digitally but she begins by drawing with pencil on paper. In her spare time, Katya loves to read and watch fairy tales and collect snow globes. Hush, Little Dozer by Rebecca Colby, Illustrated by Katy Longhi is such a fun tale! The story follows a little dozer as it says goodnight to various construction vehicles before bedtime, making this a perfect bedtime story! I love the use of fonts in the tale, taking keywords to point out to little readers as you go along. The artwork is absolutely adorable and so fun for kids to look at and talk about as they read with their caregivers. My Dad works in construction and I cannot wait for him to visit and read this one to our little guy!
