Q: I live in zip code 33473 and need to know what zone I'm in and if I can order hydrangeas from You.
A: Hi Lena, thanks for reaching out. You can look up your hardiness zone by using the USDA website - it says there that your zip code is within zone 10b. Hydrangeas will each have different hardiness zones, so just look at each listing your are interested in to see if its listed as being hardy in zone 10.

Q: I have ordered these plants three times now which is 9 plants I still don’t have a live one. The last batch came with brown leaves live they got over wet. Is this a common problem when buying plants that ship through the mail?
A: Hi Michele, plants are indeed living things that are sensitive to being in a dark box for extended period of time without light or water and are at the mercy of the postal carriers that handle and deliver them. Hydrangeas are often watered before being shipped because they are extremely sensitive to dry conditions and will quickly reach their permanent wilt point (meaning they will not recover) if they don't get watered quickly enough.

Q: I'm in zone 9, will this plant die in winter? Can plant it in sunny area (south side) or will it be better planted uner the tree?
A: Hi Beth, thanks for reaching out. This plant is hardy in zones 5-10. I would not recommend planting directly under a tree, as the root systems will compete. I hope you find this answer to be helpful!

Q: The plants I received are about 2 inches tall and 3 inches wide. They are so tiny I put them in pots so they do not get lost in the garden. Zone 10. How fast will they grow and when should they bloom?
A: Hydrangeas will grow fast depending on location and these plants typically bloom from late spring to fall.

Q: How long will it take for the plants to bloom after I receive them and plant them? What is the size of each of the three plants? Can these be planted in pots? Are these similar to endless summer hydrangeas that will continue to bloom in the fall in NY?
A: Depending on when you purchase these plants will depend on how long it will take for them to bloom. If you purchase then in the near future it will take about two months. These plants will bloom this summer. The plants are in 4" containers and are 6-8 inches tall. Depending on when you purchase them they may be smaller due to pruning or maybe even taller. The hydrangeas are repeat blooming hydrangeas that set blooms on both old and new growth and they will bloom in the fall in NY.
