Something sturdy and well made to keep our items cold for an extended time but that is also easy to open and close. We had looked at several other brands before finding this one and the others were very hard to zip and unzip, and the price point was much higher. This cooler is the absolute perfect size for road tripping with my kids or packing for the day for multiple people! I want to mention that the people complaining about it leaking… it’s my understanding that with a soft cooler it’s meant for ice packs. If you want put ice in a cooler and have it not leak, you have to use a hard one. Just my two cents.
