HydroTech 50ft Expandable Burst Proof Hose - Green

I bought this in July and it broke the following April. Didn’t even last a year. It worked great until it didn’t. :( For $50 I expected more.

Cool concept and seems to work quite well. One thing to note (and I have seen reviewers post negative reviews on this incorrectly), the hose says 100’. The hose IS 100’ as advertised, but it reaches it’s full length AFTER water pressure is applied. Don’t try and measure it fresh out of the box, before putting a nozzle on it and allowing it to expand (amazed I have to say this, yet here we are). Other thing to note: alow all water and pressure to drain from hose to allow the hose to “shrink” back to its original size BEFORE hanging up; Otherwise, it will shrink on the reel and get a bit tangled within itself. Don’t skip this step and it’ll hang just fine. Cheers!

Very low pressure. Not worth the price, however it does shrink good.

I liked the hose. I bought it last season, then drained it at the end of summer and put it in my shed. When I went to use it this year the hose filled up with water but would not come out the other end. I through the other one away because I was angry that it only lasted one year. By the time I remembered it had a warranty the trash collectors had already collected. I hope this one is better than the last one because I'm low income and can't afford a new hose every year.

Bought this 25' hose about 60 days ago. I use it with our rain collection system and garden pump. We're just getting into the growing season and used it yesterday and I noticed the plastic at the pump end had cracked. Then I went out today and the spray end plastic had completely exploded. No, I had not left the pump on - it just had the residual pressure in it. See the pictures. We'll see how good the warranty is.

Love the expanding and retraction of the product. You can tell by the feel that is heavy duty and durable.

I liked the folding ability and the way the hose stretches. I didn’t like the way it started leaking at the joint to the new hose,

First time to use an expandable hose and found it easy to manipulate the hose, easy to wind it in my hose stand.

I love how light and the ease in pulling the hose out to water. My wife doesn't have to cuss when putting the hose away! Yeah

I think this hose is great! it really goes from fitting into a small pot next to the spigot to being a 100' long. It works well thus far. I've had 50' versions of this hose in the past and I've run into some leak issues with the mechanism that connects to the spigot.

Works well when it doesn’t break I enjoy the fact that it expands and then retracts back very convenient great job

Expandable Burst Proof 100' Hose, great product. I especially love the 10yr warranty. Can't go wrong with this one.

Much better than the cheaper version of this product. I bought the other name brand, I'm very carful to clear out excess water from the hose, and it still spit within a year. I'm assuming you get what you pay for

Wonderful start! Have used the hose once and already in love! So much better than the old regular hose!!!
