Hylands Poison Ivy/Oak 50 Tablets Hyland's Poison Ivy/Oak Tablets are a traditional homeopathic formula for the relief of symptoms after contact with poison ivy or oak. Skin breaks out with red, swollen, intensely itching, burning, watery blisters sometimes followed by oozing or crusting. Hyland's Poison Ivy/Oak is safe for adults and children and can be used in conjunction. Over-the-counter allergy medications such as Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or Zyrtec (cetirizine) can counter your allergic reaction to urushiol. Use an anti-itch product: Hydrocortisone creams, gels or ointments soothe the need to scratch. Prescription corticosteroids are available as pills, creams, gels, ointments, or shots. Corticosteroid pills (usually prednisone) can dramatically reduce the symptoms caused by a strong reaction to poison ivy, oak, or sumac. Homeopathy is a safe, effective system of medicine with fundamental principles for selection and application, working to stimulate the body’s own healing properties. Homeopathic preparations (6X, 30X, 30C) dilute and invigorate the source ingredient, making doses non-toxic and safe to take alongside other medications without contraindications or known side effects. These are not like the ones I used to get from Washington Homeopathic. I've been taking them and have already broken out with poison ivy twice. I will finish my last bottle and not order again.

I am highly allergic to poison ivy and oak and with 4 huskies that hike with me I can't avoid it. I get poison ivy rashes every year. This pill takes the itching down to a minimum and the oozing almost disappears completely. Please note that it doesn't reduce the length you have the rash much and you do need to take the pills every couple hours so I keep 2 bottles on hand at all times so I don't run out. If you run out mid rash it does start to itch again within hours. I also get zero side effects with Hyland's where prednisone gives me horrible side effects. So a huge plus on that as well.

I bought this for my father because he is allergic to poison ivy. He works outdoors and is frequently exposed. I didn't think the tablets would work, but he said that the tablets helped a lot with the symptoms and requested a second bottle. I bought a second bottle and will continue to buy more.

I get poison Ivy 3 times a year, and now I'm not able to do the steroids given by the doctor due to severe reactions and immune system issues. This is the second time I took Poison Ivy/Oak by Hyland's and it's going away. this time without the doctor or steroids. You don't have to convince me any further. I'm going to stock up in case it's off the shelf someday. Way to go Hyland's. THANK YOU. I do mean that.

I am very allergic to poison ivy and oak. This product has reduced my response to contact with both. When taken immediately after exposure, the sites are much smaller and less itchy.
