Q: Is I can't believe it's not butter a non GMO product? It is important I know this before I purchase the product. I know that Earth Balance is NON GMO but it is much higher in fat content.

A: The soybean oil in ICB tub products (and soybean/canola oil in our stick products), a primary ingredient, may be derived from bioengineered crops, however, these oils used in the products are highly refined to remove proteins, DNA associated with bioengineering and other impurities below detection levels. The I Can’t Believe it’s not Butter! products have not been certified Non GMO.
