The poems in this book are so sincere and relatable. I first picked this up right after my ex left, and I made so many notes in the margins. It was almost better than therapy— and definitely less expensive!

I love all of this author's books that I've read. I started with pillow thoughts series, and then ordered others. The books are a fairly quick read, but helpful mentally and enjoyable if you like poetry. Also would recommend the books if you are going through something difficult or dealing with stuff from the past. The writing is done in a relatable way that still manages to not be too depressing or triggering, and I am diagnosed with depression, ptsd, and general anxiety.

Bought this book (along with 2 more) and they arrived with a Target sticker on top of the cover that when you remove it leaves a terrible mark/residue. Beware if you purchase it online.
