Q: Could this be used as an ice pack for injuries?

A: Yes. Wrap it in a dishtowel and it is great to ice an injured knee or wrist.
submitted byTarget Shopper - 5 months agoA: Best thing I found to heal my ankle. Wasted my money on the intended packs :/ I didn't even cut the sheet down. Wrapped my whole foot in it and secured an injury bootie around it to hold it in place. Even used these for my legs and hips.

I bought these to keep in my cooler at work to keep my pumped breastmilk cool until I get home to freeze it. They stay cold for the 10 hours that I am out of the house. I've had no leaking or issues with them. I cut one section off to keep in my son's milk bag at daycare, and when kept in the mini fridge, they stay frozen all day!
Great in theory but they break and become useless!

I LOVE the idea of these, love that they are flexible and can be cut to smaller size sheets. But the pockets of water pop and leak water all over the inside of your bag, making them unusable! I use this in my work lunch bag and it’s not like I’m throwing it around and being rough! It’s too bad because they would be really awesome if they were more durable.

Ive had this over 6 months. Its lasting so far. Great and has no smell or tears this far. I love its flexibility and how fast it freezes as well as how long it lasts! It's always 100 fahrenheit plus and it still lasts over 8 hours!

I love these sheets of freezer cubes. You can cut them to customize. They are flexible and don't take up a ton of room. They freeze rather quickly, downside they thaw quickly to. However, for injuries or to keep your lunch cool until it's time to eat, they are perfect!

These stay nice and cold in my lunch pail for at least about 4 hours until I eat lunch. It's nice you can cut the sheets to whatever size you need, so I cut mine to fit the bottom of my lunch pail. Works so much better than the big plastic ice blocks I've typically used in the past!

I got this for a knee injury and like that no matter how I wrap it, the ice stays in the same place. With a typical ice pack the inside shifts under pressure, but this keeps the area covered with ice. A good cheaper option vs a regular ice pack.

I find this easier to use than making ice cubes and once it melts it won’t get everything wet. I bought this to put in my bicycle cooler bag because now that the weather is 80* F my drinks no longer stay cold. Also, perfect for picnics or school/work lunches Btw, they can be cut so that it perfectly fits inside your preferred cooler

Can't be used in a home freezer

The box says “do not freeze below 5°F (-15°C)”. However, all home freezers in the US generally freeze to 0°F as recommended by USDA. So you can’t actually use these as designed without raising your freezer temperature.
