These ice cube trays stack really nicely. Once they are frozen, DO NOT TWIST. Leave the lid on, run hot water across the bottom, set it lid side down onto the counter, push on the silicone parts to release the cubes onto the lid. Lift off the tray and use the lid to slide the cubes into whatever you're going to store them in. I've never needed to twist them which is most likely why the plastic hasn't broken after over a year of regular use. I make regular ice, coffee and homemade stock cubes without any flavor transfer.

I bought 4 of these. I wanted to like them but unfortunately they are poorly made. As others have mentioned, they break very easily. The second time I used one of the trays it broke. I imagine if you want these to last a long time you have to be insanely careful and make sure the tray never bends what-so-ever. Too bad.

This is the first time I found a need to critique a product. But, If you thought they couldn’t reinvent something as simple as an ice tray, someone unquestionably did. And given they addressed every blazingly annoying flaw, leaving you at a loss for words in using it. Given my critical disposition, I never thought I’d be floored by an ice tray. Well, I can say without question. Never say never.

It did end up breaking after maybe 30 uses, I do make a lot of ice and was twisting it to pop the ice out of the slots. Maybe I shouldn’t have done it that way. But I didn’t think it would break it.

Love this ice tray, I purchased two and have had them for a whole year and a half. They have been very durable and I haven’t had an issue like other reviews. I love that the ice mold itself is a pretty big size so you can decide to fill it all the way or half way to make smaller ice cube. The silicone bottoms also help when pushing out the ice from the trays, but my favorite part is that they came with lids to cover the top of the ice trays and keep the ice nice and clean while in the freezer!

Tips: Don't place it on top of anything (i.e frozen foods), do not re-fill it up while it is still frozen/cold, don't overfill. I've used this ice tray aggressively for the last few weeks and it's still in perfect condition :)

Been using just over one day and there’s already a noticeable crack to the plastic. I can only imagine how it’ll hold up after a month. Love how easy the ice pops out though, wish they weren’t so poorly made.

I've purchased this tray twice and both prompty broke. Love the idea of the rubber bottoms that allow you push out the cubes, but each time the flimsy plastic tray has shattered while doing so, leaving shards of plastic in the ice bin.
