I now buy this instead of the Starbucks lemon cake. You get a whole container for the price of about 1.5 slices of theirs. It is very moist, with a pretty fine crumb. The lemon is noticeable in the cake, but it really comes through in the icing.

Tastes just like the Starbucks lemon loaf, just not as thick. Double up and have 2 slices and you have a Starbucks replica! Perfect with Ethiopian coffee or any other coffee with lemon zest notes.

OMG this little lemon cake it DELICIOUS!! Who would have ever thought buying a pre-made cake from target would taste so good. I took a slice and put sliced canned peaches over it then poured some of the juice from the can over it for breakfast this morning and let me tell you it hit the spot. Will definitely be purchasing this lemon cake again .🍋

I swear its pretty much the same as the Starbucks lemon bread I think the only difference is the Starbucks one is thicker this one is slimmer but it taste the same honestly! Also FREEZE IT!!!!! LEAVE IT IN THE FREEZER FOR ATLEAST 30 MINUTES THANK ME LATER!!!

Prior to the Favorite Day rebrand these bakery items were priced well, tastes pretty fresh (considered they're baked form frozen of course) and had good flavor. Even right after the rebrand (which I am sure was a chancge in name only, not the recipe...though perhaps not considering the current state of these items) the quality and flavor were unchanged, but now almost all of the Favorite Day bakery items have, of course, gone up in price and down in quality. These lemon loaf slices are gummy, taste bitter, cheap and overwhelmingly like fake chemical-laden lemon flavor, they went into the trash. Nearly all the other Favorite Day bakery goods taste terrible now and are not worth it at all unfortunately. Target, please upgrade your baked goods, especially because of the unnecesary price increases they've all had over the last few years.
