Q: What percent of blue light do these glasses block?
A: Amy, Blue Light exists in a medium outside UV light A or B. It's called the the HEX spectrum. Essentially, UV runs in the range of 180-380nm. This is what's called invisible radiated light. This comes almost exclusively from the sun. Blue Light runs in the 380-500nm range and would be classified as visible light. These glasses are designed to cover you properly during harmful daytime blue light use. They are roughly a 22-30% lens, as opposed to a night or dark blue light lens, which typically runs in the 40-44% lens.

Q: Are these glasses hypoallergenic? My eyes are very itchy and tearing from the ones I am wearing.
A: Ceil, This particular model uses nickel silver, which in the world of hypoallergenic metals is less desirable than the only two we would consider most safe: stainless steel and titanium (not tintanium alloy). If you're looking for a hypo allergenic non-metal, we regard polycarbonate as dermal safe and meets CA Prop 65 requirements for such. Though we do not make any acetate frames in the Screen Vision line as of now, they are also plant based and regarded highly for hypoallergenic properties. Commonly acetate frames are more expensive than polycarbonate. Hope this helps in making a decision. Best Regards

Q: can you wear these glasses just to wear them or not?
A: Javier, Not sure I exactly understand the question, but can you wear them without side effect...yes. There is no magnification, they serve simply to provide you a protective barrier to blue light.
