Q: What percentage of blue light do these glasses filter?
submitted by Need sleep - 4 months ago
Q: Will these also block the flickering from flourescent lights!
submitted by LJP - 4 years ago
A: LJP, I wish I could say they do, but the flickering in flourescent bulbs isn't a blue light issue. Flickering in flourescent lights comes from the inevitable decline in the particular bulbs ballast which is the method the moderates the even flow of light in the bulb. If you can switch the bulb it will solve the problem...at least until it happens again. Good luck.

These glasses work as they are supposed to. The only downside is that they are terribly ugly and small. They look terrible on my face. Additionally, they are so tight that they give me headaches.

I wore these on and off for about 2 days and thought they were a better quality (not as much glare, distortion, etc) than a few cheaper ones I bought at the same time. Then, I woke up the third morning and had a bumpy rash on the bridge of my nose where the nose piece rested. Oddly, only on one side. mild irritation, but red and couldn't cover with makeup. I have bought cheap plastic sunglasses my entire life and never had a rash from one, so I was shocked when it happened. I also never had makeup on when I wore these, nor did I sweat so the only thing to cause the reaction would be the plastic.

The glasses themselves look cute, although the lenses seemed to distort my view. They must have been used by someone else (for a while, not just tried on) because they had dark hair in the hinges, the sides were loose, there was sticky residue on the sides, and the lenses were dirty. I did get a quick, hassle free refund. I'm rating just the glasses (not the fact that they came pre-owned) with 3 stars because although they are cute, they are heavier than typical frames and the lenses distorted my sight.

We were away from home and my 8th grader was having terrible headaches doing online school. I wanted something I could pick up immediately in the store, so picked these. They helped right away. We ordered the youth size that fit her better, but they took a while to be delivered. We will happily keep both of these. She is quite petite, just barely 5 feet tall, wears a children's size Large, or XL for room to grow. They were a little big but adorable. She is 13, and I warned her to be careful not to scratch them based on other reviews, and it hasn't been a problem. Overall, I'd say these are $20 very well spent!

For smaller faces/heads. I have a rounder face and it’s a little tight on me.

Stylish! Purchased for a program I’m in which involves lots of online-reading...I definitely agree with the prior review, your eyes will crave these! So far they are pretty durable too. I plan on purchasing a pair for my middle-schooler as well for the virtual school year

Bought these about 4 months ago as a slight joke with a friend. With that said they became part of my everyday as I wore them to cover up my face when I didn't put on makeup and during long hours of typing on my computer. I am now ordering 2 more pairs of the same style because I have worn mine so much that the lenses of my original pair are now relatively scratched. These glasses have helped me a lot with reduction of headaches and I can definitely tell a difference without them on. The glasses making looking at everything more yellow and my eyes seem to crave wearing them when I am looking at a computer screen now. I would recommend these to anyone, especially as we are now all turning to our devices to work and keep in touch with friends.
