[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Igloo Max Cold Summit 50 Quart Hard Side Cooler is exactly what I was looking for. It holds up to 81 cans but is still light enough when empty to be easily carried. It has a bunch of nice features, like self draining cup holders on the top so the condensation does not collect; a can opener/hook if you want to put a lock on it and an attached lid that stays open, which makes it much easier to fill. It has a drainage hole on the bottom so you can let the melted water out and replace with more ice without having to remove what is left. My only hesitation are the rubber locks. While a little easier to pull and twist to unlock, I'm concerned that they may dry out and crack in the future. Also, you really need to keep the whole thing full of ice to keep the items cold, but that is probably true of most coolers.

This one I have to say is one of the best coolers we have used. It kept our drinks cold for 2 days with one small bag of ice. It is more tall than wide which I like as it can fit in my little honda civic. Would definitely rebuy!!!
For the price, I believe this might be the best medium sized cooler around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this cooler on a trip. It fit into my trunk of my car really well. It's a nice medium sized cooler but still holds a lot. It's also small enough for one person to carry but two would be needed if it's full because of how much it holds. I put ice in it and left it once I got home to see how long it would keep. The ice melted really slowly and the water stayed cold for a little over a day, which is great. There are a few down sides though. The drain is a little high so all of the water doesn't like to come out and I ended up mopping out quite a bit. The other issue is common with coolers now. The rubberized closer can be hard to pull down to make sure it's securely closed. This could be hard for older folks or anyone with hand issues. Overall, I really liked this cooler and would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

For our trips to the beach it keeps the drinks AND food cold for long time. It’s very sturdy and it fits in my car! (Before this cooler I bought another one that didn’t fit in my car and had to return it).

The size is perfect to hold a lot of drinks for a party or cookout. I think it’s rather big to take around unless you need all that space on the go. I used it for party and it can hold multiple liters of soda, a gallon of lemonade, as well as numerous cans. The latch is interesting, I don’t have any other they latch like that but I like that it solidly holds the cooler closed. And of course there’s a drain at the bottom of the cooler so no need to struggle to lift it up to drain the melted ice/water. Definitely recommend!

It was easy to move, handled kicked by toddlers, and held ice in there for 2 full days! Cleaning up was easy with the draining spout! A nice tough was the bottle opener! I liked the grey color and I think it’s very comparable to the yeti!

Have a multi-day trip coming up, that will be using this for as well. I do agree with the other reviewers, the screws on the hinges do seem a little bit small for as big of a lid that it has but we haven't had an issue with them quite yet. The other thing I wish was different, is it is rather bulky for the internal size. But in order to keep things insulated you need that extra space. So it just is something you need to know.

It’s 50 quarts and was able to hold 2 different cans of sodas and a half a case of water. Something really nice to notice is it was a bottle opened. I’d recommend this but for the price I wish it would have had wheels so you could wheel it to the beach. I also still had ice 2 days later after it being in the sun!

This new one, however, is a great size for a day out or sports games! Kept the drinks and fruits cold, performed how I would expect an Igloo cooler to. I love the soft closure rubber pieces as it is a lot more comfortable to close and open than clasps, and there is not a worry of it opening accidently like a normal lid. Definitely recommend if you are in need of a cooler.

It keeps your ice cool and frozen for HOURS and does amazing at keeping things cool. I love the handy bottle opener and the added cup holders when you need an extra hand. I really love this cooler, my family and I will probably use this cooler on every outing and family vacation because we can fit so much and it keeps it cool for so long.

The cooler is definitely built to last and it’s super easy to wipe down and keep clean. The cooler it self not filled is really light weight and portable so it’ll be great for camping or beach use.

The cooler itself is a great size, pretty easy to get in and out of a car, and even after being left outside in the heat there was still ice in it for multiple days. Bought this cooler with high hopes of it keeping ice from melting for at least the day. It is advertised to keep it cool for days. Well on our recent track day, I filled the cooler up at 7am and by 9am all the ice had melted. I’m very disappointed! I figured it would be a better cooler than the competition cause it’s American made…. I’ll be returning it to by a cooler that actually works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Truthfully, I did not need a cooler because I had an older style igloo that I’ve been using for the past 15 years but I’m so glad I had this opportunity to get a newer one and this one works so much better than the last! We just went through a heat wave. I filled the cooler up with ice and put it directly in the sun and six days later it doesn’t look like it’s melted at all. I can’t wait to take this with me on camping trips, the size was perfect. I would definitely recommend this cooler!
