This backpack cooler is a good size. Lightweight and doesn't feel flimsy. I don't think it would feel comfortable to overpack this, but still, the straps are comfortable for being half full. Plus-size friendly. A bigger person could wear comfortably using both straps and they didn't even have to extend the straps all the way. You've got the large cooler pocket with a large zipper that extends enough to get to your cold drinks. The zipper outside is great for your utensils or bottle openers and napkins. This would be great for taking your lunch for a day trip or packing for a road trip. I could see me using this as a lunch bag for an all day school day. When my husband first saw the back, he asked me if I was "6 years old" because of the colors. But then he saw the retro colors and realized how cool it was. The retro color combo (purple/blue/pink) is great and I love the matching sets Igloo has...if they have them in stock.

Great quality, fits a lot more than expected. Was sitting in the sun and the ice didn’t begin to melt until ab 4 hours in. Kept everything very cold for the full 8 hours we were out!!
