Q: What is the hottest temp of grease that I can pour in the pot
submitted by meme - 4 years ago
A: Hi, thank you for your question. Ideally the oil should cool down first before pouring into the dispenser.

The only thing that is a negative is that the handle gets hot when hot cooking grease is poured in it.

This is exactly what I wanted and the price was fantastic. It took a while to arrive, but pick-up was easy, if not fast. I would order from you again!

Buyer will have acquired an item of construction equally as poor as its design. The would-be strainer is a flat disc rather than cup so is able to pitch over vertically and fall, taking itself along with grease and unstrained particles to the bottom of the pot. The strainer perforations barely allow grease to pass through, thus limiting the amount of grease that can be added and delaying the time before “clean” grease can be dispensed. The pot and lid are adequate, except for the storing and pouring grease. The handle is angled correctly for pouring but is uncomfortably held in the hand. The pour spout is barely more than a semblance, so does not facilitate smooth pouring. The item is overpriced considering its poor quality and incapability of use for its advertised purpose. With each one purchased, the purchase of a second one of different make will be needed for actual, strained grease storage and dispensing, leaving the “strainer” to be discarded and the pot and lid to be put to another, unplanned use.
