Q: How do you get the cloth off to wash it? It comes off until you get to the battery unit.

A: Thanks for reaching out. Remove the battery unit, it comes off. Seat pad and bolster – Remove from frame. Fasten buckles on seat restraint and seat pad. Fasten all hook-and-loop patches to the corresponding patch. Machine wash with cold water, gentle cycle. No bleach. Tumble dry, using low heat.

I got this 3 months ago, it was easy to assemble, but it’s definitely not for newborns.. when placing the baby down, the sink in it & it seem uncomfortable for my baby.. I waiting until he turned almost 3 months & it seems better for my baby now.

I like the seat itself, as does my baby who enjoys falling asleep to the bouncing and music. The overhead with the plush toys does not stay on well. It's not properly lined up, or possibly bent, so it's not easy to move front to back, and it falls off very easily when moving or when the seat is bumped. That makes it a bit frustrating when my baby enjoys watching the plush toys sway, but I'm always afraid the overhead is going to fall and hit her.

The color is pretty but the material the baby lays on is scratchy. Also the angle it puts the baby's head makes her chin touch her chest. I'm not sure why they made it this way. One other thing to keep in mind is that the automatic bounce feature doesn't really work. I have to manually bounce my baby in this bouncer. Why have the feature of it's not going to work? My daughter is now 7 weeks old and absolutely hates this bouncer. We have to lay a blanket down first because of the material and the angle it puts her neck at it uncomfortable. Also there is an insert piece that lays on the bouncer. We had to remove that. It doesn't actually fit and won't stay.

My baby loves this bouncer. She can stay in it for 30 min + allowing me to get things done around the house. The only thing I dislike is the batteries. They die in about 2 weeks & they cost about $15 a pack.

I rarely write reviews but felt it would important for an infants safety. The toy bar is not very secure at all and can fall on the baby, if lightly touched. I would return it for this reason but discarded the box. Our dog has knocked the toy bar off simply by sniffing the carrier. If you are buying for the toy bar I would look for another bouncer. Also the bouncer setting seems to rough and baby does not like it. So we do not use the toy bar or the automatic bouncer feature. 6 week old does like the music and will tolerate it in short intervals. So I am able to put baby in it , so I can eat or use the restroom.

This bouncer was adorable in pics but once we put it together, the bar over the front flops back and forth and has very little support from the side attachments. Otherwise cute and okay quality, should be better for the price.

I spent the extra $10 for the Pemberton bouncer because the description says it has vibration compared to the other model. This is the only reason I got the more expensive one was because of the extra feature. There is NO vibration mode on this bouncer. I checked the manual to make sure I wasn’t missing something with the buttons. The manual repeated the same exact thing wording for the bouncer mode for music mode. I’m assuming it’s a misprint. But there is no button or feature for vibration.

Bounce and sounds are good for my baby but when he moves around he slips down and the whole cushion moves with him and the head rest part ends up being over his eyes. The back mesh has chaffed his forehead from this. So now i cant use the head rest for safety.

I do not typically write negative reviews but I am writing this out of frustration! As a first time mom I added this bouncer to my registry and have been disappointed from the moment I assembled it! First of all… the music/vibrating motor does not attach securely. When you bounce it, it dings all over the place. The automatic bounce is a joke! It bounces great when a baby is NOT in there. The main reason I chose this bouncer was because it had a cute overhead toy entertainment which is a total hassle to put on! Lastly… what is currently driving me crazy is the hard plastic below where the baby’s feet are. If my baby gets excited and kicks he will hit the plastic. I took his socks off and his heels were bloodshot red. Seriously consider another bouncer. Don’t waste your money!

I love the bounce feature. My daughter is two months and prefers this over her mama roo. She loves to kick even more when it bounces her. It was a great purchase. The only thing I don’t like is the bottom mesh part moves a lot and I have to constantly adjust when she’s active.

Ingenuity automatic bouncers used to be amazing 8-10 years ago... now they have unfortunately really cheaped out and it's just such an inferior product compared to what it used to be.

They moved away from the lovely and stable oval shaped base and have started using the inferior, large regtangular-ish base that most all other manufacturers use. Frame material, pieces and integrity are also much poorer quality than they used to be. Pieces easily come unsnapped. A rowdy toddler can also easily cause significant damage to this bouncer and I don't mean by sitting in it. The bouncing mechanism is much less effective because they put it at the top of the bouncer instead of the bottom. The soft material is nice, but the functional parts of the bouncer are all far worse quality than what they used to be. Very very disappointing, and seriously makes me question buying any more "ingenuity" items in the future, even though I used to love them.

We love this bouncer for our little one, however after recently taking it apart to clean it, we found that one of the frame pieces broke and will no longer stay clipped in when we try to reassemble it. Super disappointing.

I would not recommend this bouncer. The automatic bouncing feature is a joke, it barely bounces and does not soothe my baby. Also the only nice feature on the bouncer is how soft the cloth is other then that very cheaply made and not worth the $60
