Q: are there instructions online for attaching the headboard to a frame?

A: The headboard comes with OK printed instructions and diagrams. The assembly kit includes flat metal adjustable mounting brackets, washers and nuts with screws.

Very pleased! Package arrived about a week early and head board was protected well. Not a problem attaching it to my current bed frame. I wasn't sure of the gray, but am pleasantly surprised! It is a dark matte gray and is the perfect finishing touch to my farmhouse bed room!
