Okay, if anyone's like me, you still have physical media for one reason or another. Maybe "when I can find this" or some other excuse, you've decided to hold on to those discs. This device is an incredibly fun flashback to something that actually has more uses than we remembered them for: it rips and burns @4x for read and 8x for write, you can watch your DVDs / listen to your CDs and run / back up your OS. It also comes with all the connections you need: USB 3.0 / USB-C as well as the necessary cord for previous inputs for older PCs. An awesome, convenient (and budget-friendly) storage option that has a nostalgic feel with so much more use than most things that remind us of the past days.

It's super easy to use and is small enough to nicely fit inside most purses, bags, laptop cases etc for easy traveling. Made of high quality materials and I expect this to last quite a long time. I bought this because my old DVD drive wasn't compatible with the operating system on my new laptop. It's a sleek, solid drive with roughly the same build quality as more expensive drives. The dual USB-A/USB-C cable embeds nicely in the back of the drive and ensures that you'll never accidentally leave the cable at home. And it comes bundled with a USB power cable if you need to use it with a tablet that doesn't provide enough power to run the drive via the USB input cable.
