A: The lower shelves are 12 7/8" high. The upper shelves are 12 5/8" high.

Q: I understand the inner shelves are rated for 25lbs, but how much weight can the top surface of this piece hold??

Very disappointed in this product. The brackets bent immediately making it impossible to assemble. Despite following the directions step by step it doesn't stand correctly and the M parts bent also. This product is a complete waste of money and time. Do not recommend!!!

I had such high hopes for this tv stand based on other reviews. Those were quickly squashed within the first few minutes of putting the stand together. The pre drilled holes on many of the steps we're off. Especially when it came to attaching the doors. i currently can't even use the handles it came with because they don't fit the doors and the bracket holes were off by almost two inches. I'm probably gonna have to by different handles to be able to use the middle cabinet. Additionally don't bother with the L brackets they came with told hold the bottom together. They snapped upon installation and heavy duty brackets had to be bought.

Not worth the waste of time

Don’t waste your time or money on this. I wanted to love it soo bad but the quality is awful, the first time the screw holes were too big for the screws and almost collapsed on me, the second the holes didn’t even line up with the screws at all. I will say that target customer service is fantastic, and helped me throughout this whole process greatly.
