A: Thank you for your inquiry. The approximate inflated dimensions are 10' 3" x 3' x 1' 8". The manufacturer does not advise carrying a dog in the kayak as their claws can pop the vinyl.

Great for a inflatable. Had since about 2020. Pretty good for a kayak (at least easier to transport then my regular ridged kayak). Great if you are not sure you want the hassle of a regular kayak, but not sure if you need one while camping. Used in several lakes so far, haven't used in Puget sound yet. I admittedly weigh alot, so so does have a slight bend if i don't get the inflation perfect (my fault, need more salad). Pump is amazing for a hand pump. Use that pump for so many other things. Kids also like to use kayak as a toy (stripped of the paddles and seats) while swimming at lakes. Another use is as a ball pit in the basement during winter! Kids love jumping into its soft sides. Leave it inflate with the balls in it for a month with little air leaks.

We took the K2 explorer to Laguna Madre at Padre Island. Setup was easy. It tracked well and was fairly fast considering we were at the top of the weight capacity. Truly impressive.

Pin hole leaks after 3 years.Repair kit does not include glue and other products don’t work.Called index and they said nothing we can do,good luck,warranty up. ,

I am new to kayaking so I wanted something inexpensive and easy to transport. I’ve used it twice now and it’s super easy. It only takes 10 minutes to inflate and you are out on the water. Seems very sturdy and well made.

My first attempt at pumping it up with the included hand pump took 17 minutes. I'll let you know if anything goes wrong (for example, it recommends overfilling, which I probably did)

Just bought, found the bottom leaking.Poor design and cheap valve for the bottom. Also saw another explorer was leaking with the same reason.We had to return it.

We received our Challenger K2 this weekend and took it out on a small lake with a slight breeze. It was easy to assemble although not all valves are Boston. Easy for two people to carry to the water. Enough room for legs…comfortable. One complaint is that quality of the storage bag. We will go buy a cargo bag.

I bought one last year when Cabellas had it on sale and now have converted a shore and only motorized boat person into a fan of them. Just bought another so we each have one and can take 2 kids with us as well now. Enviromentally friendly, maneuvers into places a boat can not, Easy to set up, easy to deflate, easy to clean and easy to store. We even hook in to the top of the vehicle if we want to switch spots. I recommend this product to people who enjoy taking life at a casual speed

This kayak has been great for us to use all summer. We have taken it on lakes and rivers around the southeastern US. Setup is quick and easy. Only thing is that the oars are a little flimsy. Kids love being on the water!

I love that i can wrangle this kayak solo and that it comes with literally everything I needed to get on the water. I paddled it solo, with my dog riding in the front. And I found it to be plenty fast enough and easy to steer. As soon as you stop paddling, it does stop tracking but that didn't bother me at all. We will be having many adventures in this kayak.

This kayak is easy to inflate, pilot, deflate and store. In under ten minutes I can be out on the water and when I am through, the kayak is deflated by the time I dry everything off. Strongly recommend for anyone interested.

Used only twice. carry bag handle fabric ripped when picked up. Seats provide no support. Missing two paddle water stoppers when first opened. Thought I should sell it but after thinking about it, I would not feel right to even give it away. I decided to put it in the trash. No more inflatable Kayaks for me.
