Q: Can you use a shop vac blowing air to pump it up easily?
A: Hello. We recommend you use a low volume, high pressure pump. We hope you found this information helpful.
submitted byIntex Consumer Support - 2 years agoBrand expertA: Actaully, you want to use a HIGH VOLUME, LOW PRESSURE pump. The Intex customer support has it backwards and contradicts their own statement above. A shop vac would qualify for this.

Q: Can you blow this up manually with your mouth and not a pump? (even if it takes a long time)
A: Technically, yes. It won't be a fun time but there is a one way valve inside at least.

Q: What kind of pump does it use
A: The pump is not included with this item. You will want to consider purchasing one of the Intex handheld pumps to inflate.

Q: Is the air valve locked with a screw cap? Or blocked with a push-in plug? Air won't leak easily?
A: The air valve on the Intex Durabeam 10" Twin Size Air Mattress features a built-in air valve system designed to prevent air leakage. It is a push-in plug rather than a screw cap. When properly closed, it creates a secure seal. Let us know if you have any other questions!

Q: Can we use a tire inflator on this?
A: We do not recommend using a tire inflator or high-pressure pumps on the Intex Durabeam air mattress, as they can overinflate and damage the seams, potentially causing bursts. Use a low-pressure, high-volume air pump for safe inflation.
