Description

Book Synopsis

It Ain't Over Until The Fat Lady Sings describes how Martin Noordhof's boss's supervisor decides to get rid of Martin's boss, and replaces her with a creature that has no management skills and not the foggiest idea about the work that he does, but at the same time has no inhibitions about telling him how to do his job. His new boss has Narcissistic Personality Disorder, and Martin, a senior administrator at a large municipal university, finds out that being in a subordinate position to such a person is torture. The creature demands the immediate execution of every instruction, no matter how insane and damaging to the operation Martin is responsible for, and everything that goes wrong as a result of its orders is Martin's fault, because the creature considers itself infallible. The book tells the story of how Martin's battle with his new boss results in the end of both of their careers.
