Q: How do we get the front cover lights to light up (and shut off)? We did it accidentally, and now we can't figure out how to make it happen on purpose. Thanks!
A: To turn on the lights press the star button on the front cover. Lights should turn off on their own.

Q: My daughter received this diary and pen for Christmas and when we opened the package the pen didn't work. We haven't been able to figure out how to take the pen apart (without breaking it) to change the batteries and we didn't keep any instructions.
